Theo Walcott will undergo a late fitness test as Arsenal make their way to Sunderland tomorrow lunchtime. Scott Dann is back in contention as Palace entertain Liverpool, whilst Junior Stanislas remains a doubt as Bournemouth travel to ‘Boro.

Theo Walcott is set to be assessed later today with a “very minor” hamstring problem, according to Arsene Wenger. Santi Cazorla and Nacho Monreal also require late tests, though Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud are back in contention. Lucas Perez is out for six-to-eight weeks with an ankle injury.

Andrew Surman has recovered from illness ahead of Bournemouth’s clash with Middlesbrough. Eddie Howe has admitted he will make “a late call” over the availability of Junior Stanislas, who missed out last week with a calf complaint.

Hull’s Adama Diomande has been charged with violent conduct, following an incident in their midweek cup win over Bristol City. The club have until this evening to reply, with the Norwegian facing three matches on the sidelines if found guilty. Mike Phelan is already without the services of Robert Snodgrass, who has been sidelined with an ankle injury.

Slaven Bilic revealed West Ham “have a few knocks” ahead of their trip to Everton but went on to say “all those who played (in midweek) should all be fit and available for Sunday”. The Hammers boss also confirmed that Andre Ayew is “very close” being able to start after returning from injury in the 2-1 cup win over Chelsea.

Andre Gray is available for Burnley’s trip to Man United after serving a four-match ban. Stephen Ward has recovered from a knock and Sean Dyche is optimstic on George Boyd’s fitness, though Steven Defour remains “touch and go” with a hamstring problem.

Jason Puncheon remains a “slight doubt” for Palace’s clash with Liverpool, though Alan Pardew has confirmed that Scott Dann is now available for selection.

Daryl Janmaat returns to the Watford squad for tomorrow’s visit of Hull. Isaac Success is expected to be ruled out until after the international break, whilst Craig Cathcart, Kenedy and Stefano Okaka all remain sidelined.

Ben Chilwell joins Nampalys Mendy on the injured list for Leicester’s trip to White Hart Lane. Matty James is still unavailable as he builds up his match fitness.

Geoff Cameron is a doubt for Stoke’s clash with Swansea on Monday evening due to a knee problem. Phil Bardsley is likely to miss out – he’s been granted compassionate leave following the death of his grandfather.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

Antonio and Evans are your problem areas, but you may as well give Antonio a shot playing as a striker against Everton now.

Collins --> Pieters/Francis is the best move.

If Antonio plays up front like he did mid week he isn't a problem area at all. Shift Collins to Pieters like Alnair said above.

I'd wait since you are probably going to transfer funds from forwards to midfield so u will need 2 transfers.

But yeah no subs. IDK how long is collins out?

Fantasy Football Scout daily hot topic

    What to do with Walcott?

What are Walcott owners doing? Taking the money and moving on.

With Wenger suggesting he'll be back Tuesday and with Arsenal have a couple of poor fixtures on the horizon maybe ditching could be the smooth move.

Or do you think Walcott will be risked against Sunderland? And that those ditching are heading for a rough week?

Or is benching the sensible move? You'd want him back in three gwks time against Bou anyway and he could still do well against Spurs and ManU.

Think I've captured the zeitgeist with this one 🙂

Be interested to hear what you all think.

Personally I'm taking the opportunity to ditch - probably for Coutinho. The only advantage of having a poor rank is not having an qualms about such a move.

Do you not have a problem with buying a player with nearly 40% ownership? No possibility of flying up the rankings with such high ownership players.

taking the money, moving on. Doubt he'd be risk this weekend if Wenger is already looking toward Tuesday in his comments.

It's the season of being willing to be fluid and dynamic with your team. He'll still be available to use an FT to bring in in a few weeks, at a cheaper price.

My bench is currently Fletcher, Baines and Amat. I think I've changed my mind and will get rid. There can't be too many points coming with TOT and mun coming up next. I am a little uneasy about it though because I don't have Sanchez.

      Definitely captured the zeitgeist, Jonty!

I'd be tempted (I have Sanchez and Mustafi for my Arsenal cover, so I'm unbiased to some extent!) to move him on as there will be a price drop, cash in on the money you've made, get cover in the form of Liverpool mid as he's in such a nice price bracket, and then move him back in at a reduced price for the Bournemouth fixture.

This year TV (team value) is really, really important - there are no cheap Vahrez characters around to make a 100m team a viable one, especially come WC BB TC DGW time. I'd be prioritising building my 'war chest' for my WC later on in the year and removing Walcott in this situation - I think he'll drop a couple of times before next week, given the injury and the fixtures. Best get on someone who is rising and you'll make money on.

Forget about team value! I have never understood the importance of team value.
To catch a price rice you have to by a certain player early in the week.
This week 90.000 scouts bought Theo, for catching 0,1? Why gamble on players
early in the week when everything can happen in midweek. Buy good players
and the team value will mind its own business..

Great comment! I know exactly what you mean - im gna respond but I'm not criticising you, I'm sorry I wasn't more nuanced in my reply.

Basically, the market is not as rational as that - you need to jump on bandwagons quickly to make any profit. For example, Allen as soon as he scored 15 or so points two weeks ago I brought in straight away as I knew he'd rise right away and, to your point, he had no fixtures. I'm sure you already know, but key price rise times are Sunday night and Friday night - on both of those I "'caught the rise" and made 0.1 as a result. It was a gamble but he had no fixture; I'd rarely ever do a move if they did, though bringing Lallana in for Antonio but gambling he wasn't going to play in midweek.

The money honestly matters. Idk if you played last year, but the fact I had Xm in the bank from my plays beforehand meant I could afford Sanchez and Kun, for example, vs Ozil and Kun. And then when I TC'd, Sanchez got me 52 pts vs. Ozil on 12.

So it certainly matters because I'm building toward ensuring I can get all the big hitters come DGW WC BB TC time... And I'll take calculated risks to do it 🙂

You seems to have a good plan for your team, long term, which is the mot important when playing fpl. I always buy players with good fixtures that can give me points, not necessarily jump on bandwagons to make money. Checked your team and your tactic seems to work fine for a few years now. What is your plan for Antonio?

I agree 100, but think it's a blend. I'm not going to knee jerk into a decision as far as I can, if you have a good team in general good weeks come!

I've taken him out for Lallana. My ml rivals have Walcott and I'm guessing at least 1 will not check their teams. I think also having 2 tickets in the Liverpool mf lottery is worth it.

Tbh I was in a bind because I think Antonio will recover soon. Fully expecting a goal this week. But I didn't want to lose out on the price drop so I went Lallana early - I really didn't think he'd play in the league cup given he's recovering from injury and I was right! Thinking he'll be better over the medium term Liverpool fixtures in terms of pts return than Antonio over west ham's, too.

Good transfer! Today I will sell both of my West Ham players (Payet, Antonio) due to tough fixtures, but since the Walcott injury I'm not sure who to sell anymore. I really like Antonio in forward position, specially on a sunday TV game..

Yeah I'd totally have kept Antonio but I didn't at the time know Walcott was out. I was though thinking Lallana would be a strong counter to my ML rival's Walcott in terms of having 2 Liverpool mf with their fixtures, and plus Antonio was going to lose me 0.2, which is too much imo, so i decided to move.

Keep Antonio if i were you though!

Right to dubble up on LFC players. I have had three since gw6 and I will keep at least two of them until mid December when their fixtures is getting tough. Play your own game and dont make decisions out of other mini league rivals teams 😉

Again I agree with you 100%. But our ML is so intense that an element of that always influences proceedings :). Each to his own game, but I respect your thoughts anytime man!

I basically love to plan, so I already have things like teams like swansea (Siggy) and saints (VVD) pinpointed as coming in for Xmas given their fixtures... Nothing like a good plan coming to fruition

I know how you feel! I used to check all my ML rivals teams, but last seasons, I stopped. I still want to enjoy a good PL game without knowing mini League rivals players.

Yes, planning is what its all about. Playing FPL is like a game of chess, and with no plan, you are really smoked.. 😉

Im ditching Walcott for Coutinho (-4). Firm-Cout double up could do wonders in the coming weeks.
No way Wenger is going to risk him with a hammy even if it is a minor one as they have 2 very important matches next week.
Also as I have a triple on Arsenal I think this the best time to ditch Wally and catch up on ML rivals. Will probably get him back after 3 weeks or maybe Ramsey is an option by then.

Well going into next week my plan was to do sanchez > KDB and have walcott as my arsenal cover. But seems like the opportunity to do walcott > sterling and keep sanchez going forward?

So ultimately im looking at theo > walcott for a hit.

Don't exactly agree that Utd and Spurs are bad fixtures. Chelsea seemed a much worse fixture based on recent history and Arsenal completely blew them out of the water. Arsenal seem to me the best in the league at the moment. They will score against Utd and in the NLD anything can happen. It is a match that has seen a lot of goals in the past. Theo is the the best value for money out there in midfield. I am keeping, starting and ready to go to my bench if needed.

I think if Walcott misses Sunderland, he might still be rested against Ludogrets. It is an easy game to win and a good opportunity to give Ox regular starts.

Same dilemma I'm facing. So many pros and cons.

Sanchez - poor v recent form but good away form. Arsenal without Cazorla are a weaker side but Sunderland are truly awful.

Lukaku - his underlying stats have dipped off, but he's at home and still a threat. Meanwhile West Ham have tightened up their defence markedly but Lukaku always, always, always scores against the Hammers.

Sanchez has one last chance for me this week. He's becoming KDB for me very soon. So San(C)ez one more week. He had some good chances even without Cazorla, although I think Cazorla helps his returns, they are more fluid with him playing.

Look at the history vs. West Ham (click on the goal icon)

I think players do have their "favourite clubs" to play against - for Kaku, it's West ham!

I'm sick of Sanchez not returning points, so in a way maybe I'm doing everyone else a favour by not captaining him; he's sure to rack up double digits now, but I hate the early captain, plus Kaku record vs. WHU, means it's big Rom for me.

Pieters is nailed on - Cameron seems to be OOP in defensive mid, or playing as a "utility man" to fill any role in across the defensive line. Problem with this is that he's so easily dropped for other players who specialise in the role he's filling (e.g. Imbula can come in for him if he's in DMC; Martins Indi can come in for him if he's stationed in DC), plus he's now flagged on FPL.

Therefore, Pieters is the man to lessen the chances of an unexpected 0.

I've gotten 14 points from him last 2 gws!
