Gameweek 36 finally comes to an end this evening as Southampton entertain Arsenal at St Mary’s.

Alexis Sanchez will again be the focus of most managers’ attentions. Sitting in over 27% of FPL squads, the Chilean was the most captained player (11.2%) in the round of fixtures but a blank at home to Man United in his first match of Double Gameweek 36 means he has now netted just once in seven league appearances.

Meanwhile, his team-mate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain looks to add to a pair of assists in the 2-0 weekend win over Jose Mourinho’s side. The Gunners’ wing-back has been drafted in by over 15,000 FPL managers this week for a Double Gameweek 37 against Stoke and Sunderland.

For the Saints, Manolo Gabbiadini was the fourth most transferred in player ahead of last week’s deadline, with over 108,000 taking the plunge.

Yet a blank against Liverpool took his run to one assist in five, as Claude Puel’s defence racked up the points at Anfield instead thanks to a fourth clean sheet in seven.

Thanks to his spot-kick stop away to Liverpool, the Saints’ Fraser Forster leads the way among the Double Gameweek contingent on 16 points ahead of tonight’s 7.45pm encounter.

      Cech or Cabellero is the general consensus from what I can gather. I still think De Gea is a good shout with the way that Utd set up.

    Leading my mini league with 85 points.

    Rival has cut lead from 90 to 85 in last two gameweeks.

    Our teams are very different: He has Vardy, Lukaku, Hazard and King as differentials while I have Sanchez, Costa, Gabbiadini and Sigurdsson.

    Is this done and dusted?

        I expect disappointments, when many widely owned players won't start two matches. E.g. Holding, Alonso, Hazard, Costa, Valencia, Rashford, Bailly, Walker, Kane, Alli, possibly Stephens too, and maybe Gabbi.

        This is not the list of players I don't have.

      Not mad at all.Siggy has everything in his favour in that Swansea are fighting for their lives and have good fixtures.This is especially so when you're judging him against another single game week player like King.

    thought I'd share my views on this ongoing dilemma of
    Gibbs vs Holding

    Case1 : Koscielny Out
    The likely defence would be

    3 at the back
    Bellerin-Holding-Mustafi-Monreal-Gibbs

    4 at the back
    Bellerin-Holding-Mustafi-Monreal

    Case2 : Koscielny fit
    This is the tricky part, where any one of Gibbs or Holding could drop out. But considering Gibbs plays wing back while Holding is a centre back, the former is more likely to be subjected to rest/rotation.

    It's a tough call to make but even though I'm burned by Gabriel I may yet move for Holding given that he's more likely to get more minutes.

    TL DR; Go for Mawson or Clichy

    Massive GW for me with 92p even though I used my WC before GW34. Top of most of my ML, as well as crawling into top 10k. No hits as well since then, so quite satisfied! Now I'm using my BB with this team available:

    Pickford - Cech
    Stephens - Yoshida - Bailly - Alonso - Gibson
    Alexis - Haz - Alli - King - Sanè
    Benteke - Gabbiadini - Kane

    0.1M in the bank and 1FT. Thinking of doing Bailly --> Clichy, but a bit worried about rotation.. Any help here?

    1. King sgw and nothing to fight for > Sanchez
    2. Alli dgw but seemed to have lost his cool as shown in the last 2 games. + i have Kane as well.
