Interesting post. Generally one would like to have pen takers but in some regards not the most decisive element. Who wants Lowe from Huddes because of pen potentials? They won´t get many. Salah for example could get many, as Kane, City will have a few etc. and it looks like a lot of teams does not have a designated pen taker, as some of them (Deeney and Noble for example) doesn´t play every match. Diving rules could be part of it or it is just an accidental thing, last year it was a focus from the refs on shirt holding, resulting in many, Mike Dean come sto mind-)

I gather some will pick Hazard instead of Morata because of it and maybe Salah, etc. Other than that i don´t know

seems like a logical move in terms of him beeing a streaky player. Seems lik that Newc game kind of swayed Klopps mind a bit. Sturridge seems like a sub player now, and it comes down to not just the pressing part defensively which has worked in Firminos favour but also offensively, Sturridge seems to not work well when he starts but often make good impact when he enters as a sub.

Moreno a bit more nailed i guess. Disregard people who says Liverpool defense are shit. They have not read the numbers very well, stats saying otherwise. At home they are really strong, just one goal and 3 CS in 4 matches. Moreno offers threath down that left hand side and will have som assist. You can do alot worse than picking Moreno at 4.5. Robertson is there so could be rotated but seems like Klopp have landed on which one he prefers.

Do you think Newcastle have that much greater a chance of a CS than Swansea?

Both are important i guess. Swansea seems to let more shots goes through, and Fabianski always pops up with a pen save once in while and Vardy not the best pen taker, could that be swaying people? Maybe.

Williams is a joker.

At one stage he was talked about as decent quality he's anything but.

Williams was a decent defender but has completely lost it this season - Koeman deserves the sack just for starting him, when he has been gone mentally for weeks.

And he deserves it for ridiculous choices, for persevering with Klassen, for nonsense tactics, for his failure to play the younger players until pushed or forced, for playing with no width etc etc.

Imo quite nailed. I have him and am happy. He's an enabler but he's actually playing 90 minutes regularly, in a team that at some point will surely improve. He's one of the few bright sparks they have and he's had chances to score this season, goals coming I'd say. At 5.0 I feel he's a way better choice than a 4.5 fodder forward, and he saves 0.5 on a Joselu / Abraham who I also wouldn't really trust long term. It's a price I'm happy to bench, but also happy to play when required.

Short version though - nailed in the sense that he's a regular part of the team, even if he won't get the full 90 minutes every GW.

That's one reason I like having CPA players in my team 😆

Salah - Sterling - Richarlison - Gross

Kane - Lukaku - Morata
