Dugout Discussion

The Dugout Discussion – Middlesbrough vs Watford

Sunday’s events get off to a rather inauspicious start, with a Riverside Stadium encounter somewhat bereft of Fantasy interest.

Middlesbrough take on Watford in the lunchtime clash and, despite Alvaro Negredo heading into the match with more than 17% ownership; it’s a good bet that many of those FPL managers have long since taken their hands off their teams.

Negredo is recalled to the ‘Boro starting line-up as he looks to break a run of five Premier League appearances without a goal or an assist.

There is certainly more interest in the Hornets’ assets, with Troy Deeney presenting arguably the most likely source of points in today’s encounter.

The Watford skipper has notched three goals in his last four and leads the line backed by 8.2% ownership.

We’ll also be monitoring the progress of Jose Holebas at left wing-back, with the Greek still just a single yellow card away from a one-match ban.

Equally, Issac Success’ performance will be of interest – the Nigerian ousts his compatriot Odion Ighalo to the bench today to take his place in what looks to be a 3-5-2 setup from Walter Mazzarri.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I'm an idiot! I was looking at my Sky team 15 minutes before the deadline debating whether or not to bring in a player just for the (c) swap as I thought I had no players involved today.. I decided go go without and leave the (c) with Sanchez until MNF tomorrow.. As I'm watching the Mid v Wat game now I've just realized that I actually have have Holebas

    Heaton Pickford
    Valencia Coleman Lovren Holebas Amat
    Sanchez Sterling Firmino Antonio Fletcher

    Any suggestions?

After lallana recovers i would be tempted to do antonio to lallana/milner. Might be good to double up on pool miffield with the fixtures coming up.

Ever thought about just leaving your team as it is rather than try and chase last weeks points?

I did Hazard and Friend to Rose and Son for a hit this week, didnt exactly pay off.

Walcott is the logical choice to bring in this week but tempted just to leave it as it is, he will probably go off injured after 3 minutes the way my season is going.

Saving a FT is tough but quite often worth it to give yourself wider options the following GW. Sorry if that sounds kinda obvious but it's true.

    What should I do?

    A) Ignore Walcott and do Benteke ➡ Deeney / Wilson / Bony

    B) Antonio & Benteke ➡ Walcott & Wilson for a hit
