It was just an ad originally its even worse this is an actual feature. Who had ever seen a self starting pop up video on a website and liked it? It’s even worse on here where you end up loading each time you refresh or post a comment. At least on news sites you tend to only load the page once and leave. Honestly makes the site unusable if I have to close a video every time I post or refresh

So does this make Tsimikas an option in wildcard and can anyone suggest what impact this might have on TAA? I had been eying up TAA but would want to think his minutes would be more assured and with Robbo out he might get to push in s bit more. Any thoughts on this?

See no reason not to get Tsimikas on WC, we've already seen how it works at start of last season. Nothing really changes for Liverpool

“It was a regular challenge, but the aftermath was anything but normal,” a spectator commented, recollecting the captain’s evident agony as he cradled his right shoulder, his face a canvas of pain. Assisted by the medical team, he vacated the battleground, his jersey morphed into an impromptu sling, indicating a potentially severe shoulder ordeal. Speculations ran rife – was it a dislocation? If affirmed, this could translate to a six-week hiatus from the sport he breathes...

Thoughts on this WC team? Have 0.1 ITB so could change Tsimikas to a 4.5 if he loses his spot when Robbo comes back

    Areola (Turner)
Trippier - Gabriel - Tsimikas (Kabore, Taylor)
    Salah - Neto - Madidison - Saka - Diaby
    Haaland - Watkins (Archer)

Worth rolling my ft this week? Was tempted to take bruno out and upgrade saka to Salah but doesn't seem worth a -4 with bruno facing sheffield united:

    Alvarez - Haaland

To get penalties you need have the ball inside opponent's box first. Then you need to have a good player (like Zaha) to be fouled.

With Rodriguez out of the picture at Burnley, think Foster might take penalties.

Let’s hope Klopp doesn’t have same view as many on Liverpool fan forums and play Gomez there. Not sure why you moved so quickly but hope it works out!

By nature Tsimikas should start but should've waited

      A) We don't know how long Robbo is out for
      B) There's still so many internationals to play
      C) Every chance Quansah plays LCB if Klopp reverts to Trent inverted

    Planning my WC next week:
    Areola (Turner)
    Gabriel Cash Trippier Burn (Guehi)
    Bowen Maddison ? Salah (Neto)
    Alvarez Haaland (Archer)

I need to find £0.8m to make Saka my 5th midfielder, but I really do not want to get rid of Salah Haaland or Trippier, what is the best way to do this, or is this impossible?

    A or B on a WC?

    A)

    Areola (Turner)
Trippier - Gabriel - Tsimikas (Kabore*, Taylor)
    Salah - Neto - Madison - Saka - Diaby*
    Haaland - Watkins (Archer)

    B)

    Areola (Turner)
Trippier - Gabriel - Tsimikas (Cash*, Taylor)
    Salah - Neto - Madison - Saka - Gordon*
    Haaland - Watkins (Archer)

Tsmikas is just not a good starting defender imo, yes robbo is injured but liverpool defence is just awful, robbo being out makes their defence even worse!
Surely with Neto and Gordon/Diaby in midfield you can afford a better defender from a better defence than him? (Burn/Botman/Guehi etc)

Besides that, Cash + Gordon is much better than Kabore + Diaby.

Everton are amongst the highest xG earners this season though, and Forest have the pace up front to trouble Liverpool on the break

Everton are not among the highest for xG, they're 9th for xG.
Liverpool have only conceded 9, same as Newcastle who have an amazing defense apparently.

Newcastle have 3x the league cleanies, plus cleanies against City (cup), Milan and PSG within the last month.

Liverpool’s defence would be midtable tier if not for Alisson.

I'm talking about league games, and Paris scored against Newcastle.

Put Everton, Luton and Forest attackers in your team if Liverpool's defense is that bad.

Yeah misremembered - still conceded the same number of goals against Mbappe as Liverpool did against a Belgian side.

Christ, if Liverpool were as defensive as you are, they might be top of the league.

Cleansheets everytime over low goals conceded tally for FPL. Low goals conceded good for Pool results. But poor for cleansheets.

Guehi to Taylor allows Soucek > Douglas Luiz/Hee Chan/Jensen at best.
Luiz is a good pick, but he's 1 yellow off suspension.

Inspired by a question on Planet FPL, who are the best strikers in the league after Haaland? Non FPL wise

    I'd go with

    1. Nunez
    2. Toney
    3. Isak

Son is a LW for me

    1. x.jim.x
      • 10 Years

Nunez? You have to be kidding.

If we’re talking proper 9s, it has to be:

      1. Toney
      2. Isak
      3. Wilson
      4. Jesus
      5. Watkins

    2. Herger

Son is as much a LW as Darwin. They've both been shifted there at times but both are more effective as a CF and Son has been playing as a CF for the last few games and will most likely play as a CF for the foreseeable future based on his form as a CF compared to LW.

Son is the next best after Haaland but as you're not counting him as a striker (also assuming you're not counting Alvarez as a forward either so that rules him out as the next best option as well), I'd probably say Isak and Watkins.
