Injuries

The Treatment Table – Gameweek 4

As always on a Monday afternoon, we scour the Premier League treatment rooms to assess the players who picked up injuries over the weekend action.

Arsenal
Mathieu Debuchy was forced off with an ankle injury in Saturday lunchtime’s draw with City. Arsene Wenger is set to address the press later today amid fears the Frenchman could be sidelined for months.

Burnley
The Clarets’ forward Danny Ings was subbed off with a hamstring problem in the weekend draw at Palace, while Matty Taylor missed out altogether due to injury, allowing George Boyd to make his debut on the left of midfield.

Chelsea
Didier Drogba missed the Blues’ home win over Swansea after injuring an ankle during training.

Crystal Palace
Neil Warnock confirmed Joe Ledley sustained a hip injury in the Palace dugout and was unable to take to the field against Burnley. The Palace boss also revealed Wilfried Zaha was lucky to make the match after picking up an ankle injury in training.

Everton
Sylvain Distin missed the Toffees’ win at West Brom due to a dead leg, though Roberto Martinez confirmed earlier today that the defender is on course to feature against Wolfsburg in the Europa League on Thursday.

Leicester
Foxes number one Kasper Schmeichel missed Saturday’s win at Stoke after sustaining a minor knee problem on international duty with Denmark.

Stoke
The Potters’ left-back Erik Pieters was forced off with an unspecified injury in the latter stages of Saturday’s home loss to Leicester.

Swansea
Jordi Amat is set for knee scans after picking up a problem in the weekend loss to Chelsea – the defender left Stamford Brigde with his leg in a brace.

Tottenham
Jan Vertonghen was omitted from the weekend trip to Sunderland after picking up a minor muscle injury.

West Brom
Stephane Sessegnon was ruled out of the weekend home loss to Everton after sustaining an eye injury in training.

Brilliant going with so few transfers used, well done Rayne. I imagine a lot above you have used many to get monthly prizes too.
So your position is even stronger than it looks imo.

Also the transfers I have used have proven to be a bit unecessary so far.
          Total pts = 220
          Starting XI pts = 221 😆

No captains, limited transfers, very basic scoring system. Good prizes too.

Need some help for my UCL team....

    Muslera (Fabiano)
    Mbemba - Eliseu - Moreno - Jedvaj - Ramos
Kagawa - Sterling - DoNascimento (Matuidi, Brahimi)
    Ronaldo - Neymar (Lewandowski)

Benched players play on Wednesday and will probably get subbed in manually.

Any players here that are injured that I am unaware of? Perhaps some non-starters?

    Ty in advance,,,,

    UCL:

    Moya(Nunes)

    Moreno, Ivanovic, Jedvaj, (Mbemba, Uchida)

    Fabregas, Sterling, Matuidi, Bellarbi, Brahimi

    CR7, Diego Costa, Neymar

    Fabregas, Sterling, Lamela, Siggy, Ramsey

    Ronney, Costa, Naismith

Predicting Sigurdsson to score some points isn't exactly a revelation mate.

What I want to know is who are the seven *other* attackers youre going to field ahead of Costa this week?

Mate first off, unless you're a 13yr old girl don't use CAPS to make a point.

Next, predicting a player not do well away to Man City isn't some revelation however, who were the 7 *other* attackers you played in place of Costa & how'd they all do this week?

Finally, give us a link to your team...
I'd love to see your HoF rank here on the site & further, see just how well you're doing this year too.

Was thinking of getting Lucas. You think he's nailed on?

Also I'm nervy about picking Chelsea full backs as I think Luis will get a start in the CL, but not sure whether he will kick out Azpi or Ivanovic.

I've done some research and it appears he's started up top in a front three with Ibra and Cavani in the last few games so I would think he's nailed. Often gets subbed off early though

Why do people fancy Moore over Duff? Am I missing something?

Apparently Duff might not be nailed on because Keane went to Burnley, but won't understand why they'd change up that backline.
