After another international interruption, there’s just a few hours left until the domestic action resumes once again. Our quest to get the better of Paddy sees us turn our attentions to a couple of in-form midfielders from Chelsea and Tottenham, whilst QPR’s free-scoring frontman also gets the nod for the trip to injury-hit Newcastle.
First up, we make our way to Stamford Bridge as the league leaders prepare for the visit of a West Brom side that have scored three times on the road this season. Paddy are offering 7/2 on Oscar to score and Chelsea to collect a clean sheet, and bearing in mind the Brazilian has scored three times in the last six, we’re happy to make this our bet of the week and throw £4 their way.
Whilst Spurs continue to struggle under Mauricio Pochettino, Nacer Chadli is thriving as a Fantasy force. The Belgian grabbed his sixth goal of the season last time out and pays visit to a Hull side that has failed to score in each of the last three Gameweeks. With Paddy offering 8/1 on Chadli to score and for Spurs to earn a shut-out, we part company with another £3.
Our final bet is saved for St James’ Park. Newcastle have lost Fabricio Coloccini to injury, and with Steven Taylor regarded as “a big doubt” by Alan Pardew, the hosts’ recent run of clean sheets could be coming to an end. Charlie Austin has notched four in the last three now – including strikes against Chelsea and City – and with Paddy are willing to offer 66/1 on Austin to score twice and the R’s to grab a clean sheet, this one looks worth a flutter. We’re going to back Harry Redknapp’s side to the tune of our final £3.
