The ScoutCast – Episode 152 – Threesome

Visuals returned to the ScoutCast this week, as Granville and I cuddled up in a Google Hangout, with Jonty crashing in to form a ménage à trois.

Those of you who were on the site on Monday evening got the opportunity to join the sausage party via our You Tube channel. If you missed out, you can view the entire uncut version of the Hangout via the Hangout movie below.

If you prefer your ScoutCast in the regular, edited and polished audio format, you can of course get the goodness via this link or via the player below.

We’ll be looking to book ourselves in for future Hangouts every Monday evening – cropping up again next week prior to Tuesday’s deadline. Subscribe to our You Tube channel to get prior warning and look out for the dedicated Hot Topic on Monday.

Am I alone in thinking this PVA news is a bit more worrying rather than good. Poyet basically saying he won't play v teams that like to "get it in the mixer".

Don't see a lot of starts in that lot then. In a week where lots are struggling to field 11 it feels like a bonus but realistically he gonna get 2pts max. Still tempted to ditch

It means pretty much nothing. Those that want him to play will make it seem like he's nailed on, and those that don't will explain why it means he's definitely out.

I'd take it as at least he's talking about him potentially playing. This week that might be good enough

He actually said he needed height in Rodwell's absence and vs WBA who had scored at set pieces. They won't be playing WBA again, and Rodwell will be back.

Not that this makes it any clearer either.

Agreed. Just get PVA out I guess. Or walcott as he might be on the block later. Haidara also could be moved but you have no budget for anything decent.

Walcott to Herrera for a punt?

Not the worst option in the world to have, but he clearly isn't nailed. Just an unknown to start each week, might be worth the risk ashe is explosive but I have Caz/Sanchez as they almost always start.

Also have ADM who will bid farewell to my team regardless of his output against SUN. He will become Silva next week. (LEI)

    Krul
    PVA - Fonte - Jones - Vlaar*

I have 10 starters plus PVA. have an extra FT that I need to use or ill lose it, which to do?:

A: PVA ---> Dawson (already got Foster and PVA may start)
B: Start PVA. Punt on Puncheon --> Moses
C: Start PVA. Punt on Defoe ---> N'Doye/Cisse

If you -12 at 5k.... I seriously doubt it will work as the players in that zone are on the mustard, so to recover the -12 and still move ahead of them at the end of the GW or following GW's is tough.

If you -12 at 300k and get lucky with a good haul... you may well get a green arrow immediately and make huge strides.

That being said, I have seen some absolute pearlers... there was a guy that had -24 and scored well over 100 - average of around 50.

I have 10 sure starters+PVA+Wasilewski. I have 2 FT's and 0.3 million in the bank. What would you do?

    A) Sell Wasi for Yun to get an extra DGWer and hope PVA starts this week.
    B) Sell Wasi to someone who will play this week. However I can't find anyone upto 4.2 who I want.
    C) Sell PVA for Wollscheid. Let Wasi be for now.
    D) Hope PVA starts and get Cisse in for Defoe as a one week punt. Will lose for Austin next week.

With all this PvA news, what are his chances of starting do we think?

    I'll say 80%

It seems to me that he wasn't actually droppped, it's just there were other players better suited to the WBA game

Does this make sense or am I trying to be too clever?

Have 2 FTs in the bank, thinking of doing Hutton > Tomkins and then PVA > Yoshida. Will then sub out Yoshida next week for Rose as want to have Toby long term.

Reckon its worth using the 2nd FT on taking PVA out or just go with it for the week and hope he starts?

No, you would be shrewd and it's a gamble you can afford.

    Aguero, Giroud

    Kane, Haz, Terry, Lucas

    A) Lucas > Cork (want to keep 5th mid as cheap as poss)

    Hi All,

    Team is

    Krul
    Bellerin - Hutton - PVA-Wasilewski
Sanchez - Silva - Boyd -ADM
    Aguero - Sturridge

    Subs: Hazard, Kane, Yun

Have 2FT but nothing in the bank. Going to use at least one to get Wasilewski out for Bruce/McShane. Should I use the other and get one of my other doubtful defenders out (Hutton/Bellerin/PVA)? Or risk that they will play and have 2FT for the DGW?

    Cheers!

First RMT in two years! ^_^

2 freebies and 0.0 in the bank

    Lloris Foster

Van Anhalt - Wisdom - Bellerin - Hutton - Zouma

    Haz - Silva - Walters - Ozil - Sterling

    Giroud - Kun - Kane

    Obviously, abit messy defence. /0\

1 or two free transfer to field a potential XI this weekend?

Thinking Van Anhalt Wisdom -> Bruce & Réveillere with 0.0 left.
