The Sunderland vs Spurs Premier League fixture, postponed on February 28th (gameweek 27) due to the Carling Cup Final, has been rescheduled for March 7th.
This is another FA Cup weekend but, as both clubs are no longer involved in the competition, they can resume league action. This means that both Sunderland and Spurs will gain double fixtures in gameweek 28.
Sunderland already face a trip to Liverpool in that gameweek, while Spurs face a home game with Boro. That means that Fulham, Blackburn, Sunderland and Spurs all have two fixtures in gameweek 28 to watch and plan for. We’re still waiting on confirmation as to when United’s home league fixture with Portsmouth, also postponed due to the Carling Cup Final, will be rescheduled.
