Got your team sorted? Good – feel smug, you’re probably in the minority. Have a look at this then. Our friends at Paddy Power have sent us word on a brand new predictions game for the new season and we’ve set up our very own Tournament here on the site.
‘Last Man Standing’ is a very easy concept to grasp. You pick a Premier League team that you think will win in the forthcoming gameweek. If you’re right and they get the victory, you progress. If they draw or lose, you go out. You can only pick the same Premier League team once in every tournament, so it’s not like you can go for one of the big four every week. The ‘last man standing’ in any Paddy Power tournament pockets a £10,000 prize…
It’s £10 to enter and Paddy Power tournaments start every week – the first is due to kick-off with tomorrow’s fixtures. Oh, and Paddy Power are being generous as usual – for the first week of the season only, they are offering free entry to next week’s tournament for all those knocked out in the first round this week.
You can also set up Private Tournaments with their own prize funds, which is exactly what we’ve done. The Fantasy Football Scout tournament is just £5 to enter and all the entry fees will go towards the prize pot for the winner(s). Hold your horses though – if you’ve yet to register with Paddy Power through this site and you want your free £20 for a £10 sports bet, then you’re best doing that first by clicking here and then signing up for Last Man Standing with your new account.
Just to be clear, those who register an account by signing up for the Last Man Standing tournaments, will not get the free £20 offer on a £10 sports bet later on. Register first then, then sign up for the Fantasy Football Scout tournament.
Once you’ve registered with Paddy Power then, or if you’re already signed up, you can join the Fantasy Football Scout Last Man Standing Tournament by clicking here. Click on ‘Enter Last Man Standing’, then select ‘Join A Private Tournament’. When requested enter the following Tournament code 12502508014757. You should then be in the tourney and ready to go, once you’ve paid the £5 entry fee. Good luck to all, within reason of course. I’m in it to win it.
