Just another wee news bulletin here to make sure all you eager fantasy players are kept in the know. Fantasy Premier League have officially acknowledged two of the rescheduled fixtures, so now all of us managers can start planning long term for our first (potential) double gameweek bonanza.

Mark down gameweek 13 (November 21st-25th) in your fantasy diaries folks, as Fulham will be playing host to Sam Allardyce’s Blackburn side on a Wednesday evening in London, while Hull City will be inviting Everton across England for their matchup…

Fulham have their game slap bang in the middle of a favourable fixture period (wig, bir, BLA, BOL, SUN, bur). The most eye catching part of that fixture list is they now have 3 consecutive fixtures are Craven Cottage – if Fulham can shore themselves up at the back like they did last year, investments in Hangeland and the rest of the defensive line could look appealing.

Blackburn have their game in an also rather peachy set of fixtures (POR, bol, ful, STK). Somewhat contradicting what I have just written, I would be quite tempted by Blackburn’s whole squad. All of those fixtures could easily lead to shut-outs with Allardyce in charge, making Samba probably the ideal pick with his aerial ability at set-pieces too. I myself am currently eyeing up David Dunn in the offensive quarters, he has won two man of the match awards in a row, and is thriving in his Steven Gerrard-esque second striker role (as has been previously reported on our twitter feed).

Hull’s fixtures are currently in an upturn, and this double gameweek seems to fall right on the cusp of where they fall apart (WIG, ful, POR, bur, STK, WHM, EVE). Their following fixtures include trips to Eastlands and Villa Park as well as a blank week – so to those with Hull players (and looking to invest in them) I would plan ahead to possibly oust them not long after this double header. Without Michael Turner I’d say their defence looks a very weak option, but Stephen Hunt & Geovanni could be good cheap midfielders. If Phil Brown settles on who his favourite striker is too (currently Ghilas it seems), then with them all at £5.0m each they could be perfect 3rd striker choices.

Finally we have Everton. Gameweek 13 is somewhat of a right pickle when it comes to their fixtures, even more so than Hull. This double match-up falls plum in the middle of their toughest spell (mun, hul, LIV, TOT, CHE) and then they too have a blank week. Only the bravest of managers will be looking to invest heavily in Everton players with this fixture list in mind – but if you were, the likes of Distin, Pienaar and maybe even a returned Arteta are probably your best value options.

There’s plenty for all of us to think about, and plenty of time for us to do just that. Feel free to debate in the comments your own opinions on choice players and if you will be planning ahead for this occasion.
