While earlier today we learned that Arsene Wenger was still in the dark on the extent of Cesc Fabregas’ hamstring injury, the player himself has it seems offered his own prognosis via Twitter.

Fresh from Cesc’s official Twitter feed, the Arsenal skipper has stated…

“Good news on my injury. I have some fluid but nothing bad in the muscle. I hope i can be playing in 2 weeks.”

While we hesitate to take the words of social networking sites as gospel and a guide to Fantasy Football selections, the update could nonetheless be a genuine scrap of news on a situation that, up until now, has remained rather fuzzy. On the other hand it could be a dodgy impostor with over 60,000 gullible followers. You decide.

As Wenger has suggested, we can expect official news tomorrow. If he updates his Facebook page before then I’ll let you know.
