As we outlined just over a week ago, we also have a whole batch of work in progress developments as we go into “Phase Two” of the Members area. Here’s a list of what we will be looking to deliver to Members in the next few months…

View all Opta stats by Gameweek – Filter Player and Team statistics for a single gameweek.
View all Opta stats by Gameweek Range – Filter Player and Team statistics for a range of gameweeks. So, for example, you can use this facility to view Arsenal’s data over a range of Gameweeks with or without Cesc Fabregas. Custom filters such as this will be supplied as suggestions.
View all Opta stats for Home/Away fixtures – Filter player data by Home and Away fixtures to find those players who perform best on the road and those who only produce for home fixtures.
View all Opta stats against specific opponents/group of opponents – View those players and teams who raise their game against the cream and the “flat-track bullies” who always produce against the bottom four.
New Player and Team Tables – New calculation tables will provide new key data for each position. For example you’ll be able to view stats such as Goal Attempts per minute/start, Crosses per minute/start to help analyse player performance.
Revised Player Projections – The new Projection tables will utilise the Opta data to “project” Fantasy returns based on performance stats such as Goals Attempts, Key Passes, Successful Crosses, as well as key Fantasy data such as Goals, Assists and Clean Sheets. This data will be cross referenced with Team statistics and data from previous seasons to create Player Projections that will automatically update each week.

  Who would you trade Carroll for in that price range though?
  
  I'm keeping faith in Malouda for another couple of games. Chelsea has got some decent fixtures coming up and I would especially advice against shipping him out before a home game to Wolves.
  
  I'm with you on Bale though, keeping him for Everton's visit to the Lane then getting rid.

    Didn't watch the game yesterday but from what I read it sounds like Malouda was the most threatening player on the pitch. He will score plenty more this season so please sell him everyone, I don't want to share his points with all of you 😉

    Dembele and Odemwingie are good options in Carroll's bracket. Personally I'm keeping faith with Carroll and looking at one of those two to complete my trio with Drogba.

    Carroll next 3: wham away, against promising defense with Upson and Da Costa at center back. Also possibility for Carrol to be rotated with Ameobi after his goal. Next, against Sun which defense has shut out both of the Manchester's and than against Arsenal with Vermalen fit (its time for Arsenal CS IMO). Also, the huge percent of possession for Arsenal means New will struggle to score. I am quite worried for 1, 2, 1 pts respectively for Carroll.
    
    On the plus side WBA has scored twice against Man and 3 goals against Arsenal. It seems that they are finding real form. Odemwingie is class BTW. FULL, b'pool, CITY I quite fancy him to score in all that games.
    
    And did I even mentioned all the BP earned by Odemwingie???

My team for next week:

Foster (Carson)

Cole/Elmo/Coleman (Jones/Dann)

VDV/Malouda/Nani/N'Zog (Albrighton)

Tevez/Berba/Drogs

really happy with it, plan is to eventually do this:

Malouda>Fabs
Jones>Bosingwa
Berbatov/Tevez>Best cheap striker option

Probably will be Berba out, i'm hoping he goes off the boil otherwise the team i've got now looks like it will get some serious pointage

Only other way to incorporate Fabs is:

Foster>Krul/Al Habsi
Dann>Simpson
Jones>S. Taylor(out for a few weeks yet)
Malouda>Fabs

Just don't know how essential it's gonna be keeping my strikers the way they are! Not gonna do anything rash, yet it's defintely Fabregas whose gonna upset my carefully balanced team.

I'm looking for a value-for-money, must-have striker over the next few weeks, not including Tevez, Drogba, Carroll?

I'm struggling to be honest - I want to downgrade Tevez to get in Bosingwa. Thoughts?

Also thought of doing Bale > N'Zogbia & Williamson > Bosingwa, but that will leave me tight on the budget for the Gerrard > Fabs swap in gw10.

  Well done on Nani captain I got Nzog in 2 weeks and he has left the station and on the platform. Really been a star too risky to captain a player like that so will settle for 15.

Feel like spreading the love of the beautiful game! ... My weekend thus far: party of us went out last night (this morning) to Gatecrasher Birm; free champagne and vodka; Didn't get too drunk and embarrass myself either by falling off heels and showing knickers - had amazing night and 'Ma Boyz' did good for me in my FPL, very good actually. Got into last night's dress ok so am off my 2-day pre-club crash diet and can now smell the Sunday roast - Life is Good!!!

Any opinions on Brunt? He has me convinced and the transfer I'm looking at is Nolan out for him. I will wait until after CL of course.

Will he keep performing? Looks a real player in that WBA side to me.

      you can get Nzog for the same price and in my opinion he is the better player.. but certainly brunts returns so far have been impressive but that well is going dry up sometime..

      pays off sometimes. nzog looked lively. but i like that you dont let it blind you out of reccing adam. ashley cole is a good move though, but dangerous of your rivals payed 7.5 for him. see the scouse bashup and look at baines...

  That philosophy is fine and you are thinking along the same lines as me (which may or may not be a good thing).
  
  Bosingwa looks like he'll start v Wolves so he should be considered although I can belatedly see the value of Cashley almost as a "6th midfielder."
  
  Tevez looks over-valued in a defensively minded City team and he looks vulnerable for the chop in my team.
  
  One thing - you'd be bonkers binning Malouda before the Wolves game.
