A game being billed as the most important Merseyside derby in years kicks off a double bill of Sunday afternoon fixtures. NESV-owned Liverpool travel up the road to city rivals Everton, with both sides looking for only their second win of the campaign.

Everton will already be confident of inflicting defeat on their arch-rivals for the first time in the league for over four years, but that confidence will be bolstered with the team news. Jamie Carragher fills in at right-back for the injured Glen Johnson, Steven Gerrard partners Lucas Leiva in defensive midfield and Phil Jagielka passes a late fitness test to play…

Everton XI: Howard, Neville, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Coleman, Heitinga, Arteta, Osman, Cahill, Yakubu

Liverpool XI: Reina, Carragher, Skrtel, Kyrgiakos, Konchesky, Gerrard, Lucas, Meireles, Cole, Maxi, Torres

The final game of the day sees Manchester City visit Bloomfield Road, with most fantasy-managers praying for contrasting returns for a certain Argentinian. That game kicks off at 4pm.

          Bosingwa is probably worth the watching as he's been out for so long, the worlds your lobster with that budget, it depends more on what cash you'll need for other transfers further down the line as theres a good bit of decent value defs around.

            Myself the tactic is one biggie from Chelsea / Man City, not Utd. Talk on here O Shea not nailed down. Safer with Vidic but pricey.

          His ball was meant for Huddlestone, the fact it hit a defender on the way through should not change that. It reached its intended recepient so the assist should be given.

            Plus the direction of the ball never changed! If that same touch had been on a Bale shot that was on target the goal would have been Bale's.

                  Would surprise me - it was a dodgy assist and, while some of these are given, if they're not given straight away then those at FPL towers don't normally change their mind retrospectively.

      The big question is Zabaletas fitness...If he is out, Lescott will have to play on the left, and only Boateng can partner Kompany (leaving some room for Richards on the right). Might be the last PL game for Richards though as Kolarov/Toure/Zab should be ready soon

      bale to VDV is a positive move (also a popular one this i think)

      atm, chelsea defenders or elmo would be all i would touch (to few cleanies)

      I would also ensure you have a plan to get in fabs for gw10 onwards.
