A game being billed as the most important Merseyside derby in years kicks off a double bill of Sunday afternoon fixtures. NESV-owned Liverpool travel up the road to city rivals Everton, with both sides looking for only their second win of the campaign.

Everton will already be confident of inflicting defeat on their arch-rivals for the first time in the league for over four years, but that confidence will be bolstered with the team news. Jamie Carragher fills in at right-back for the injured Glen Johnson, Steven Gerrard partners Lucas Leiva in defensive midfield and Phil Jagielka passes a late fitness test to play…

Everton XI: Howard, Neville, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Coleman, Heitinga, Arteta, Osman, Cahill, Yakubu

Liverpool XI: Reina, Carragher, Skrtel, Kyrgiakos, Konchesky, Gerrard, Lucas, Meireles, Cole, Maxi, Torres

The final game of the day sees Manchester City visit Bloomfield Road, with most fantasy-managers praying for contrasting returns for a certain Argentinian. That game kicks off at 4pm.

The Dugout Discussion is open as usual and is awaiting your participation.

I see that the capt poll was right to go with Nani but it must be close with Tevez +2.I feel sorry 4 those who stuck with Torres I'm glad I got rid Tevez at the moment is a far better player.

The ref really screwed Blackpool over today, genuinely feel sorry for them as they in no way deserved to lose.

Classic Tevez jamming a couple of goals that should not count, which may do for me in the cup but oh well I've still got his 3bps to look forward to.

Seriously squeky bum time in the cup! 53 for me (after hit) with Jones and Elmo to play plus Tevez's Bp and he has 55 with Elmo to play plus Coleman and Arteta could get Bp.
    Can i do it?

      Pretty tight really:

      You: 53
      Him 55

After bonus it'll probably be something like:

      You: 55
      Him 59

Elmo cancels out as you both have him then Jones needs to get a cleansheet which looks like he has a good chance of doing so seeing as:

a: Blackburn are good at home
b: Bent is out for Sudnerland
c: And Sudnerland are poor away

Arteta 3 and Tevez 2/3 please. That'd leave me on:

22/23 from to players today. Then I hae eSamba tommorow and a cleanie looks likely and a chance of Bonus/Attacking Profits + 3 poitns to come off the bench might actually see me rise from 6,000 at the start of the gameweek despite taking a 12 Point Hit to get players such as Fabregasan Kolarov In.
