A game being billed as the most important Merseyside derby in years kicks off a double bill of Sunday afternoon fixtures. NESV-owned Liverpool travel up the road to city rivals Everton, with both sides looking for only their second win of the campaign.

Everton will already be confident of inflicting defeat on their arch-rivals for the first time in the league for over four years, but that confidence will be bolstered with the team news. Jamie Carragher fills in at right-back for the injured Glen Johnson, Steven Gerrard partners Lucas Leiva in defensive midfield and Phil Jagielka passes a late fitness test to play…

Everton XI: Howard, Neville, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Coleman, Heitinga, Arteta, Osman, Cahill, Yakubu

Liverpool XI: Reina, Carragher, Skrtel, Kyrgiakos, Konchesky, Gerrard, Lucas, Meireles, Cole, Maxi, Torres

The final game of the day sees Manchester City visit Bloomfield Road, with most fantasy-managers praying for contrasting returns for a certain Argentinian. That game kicks off at 4pm.

    how does arteta not get a bonus the one week he scores, but all the other weeks get bonus? for those of you who thought i'd cruise into the next round of the cup, think again after fabs/drogs news that killed me this week. currently down 50 to 55 w/jones and elmo left to play, so i need a 0-0 result tomorrow or jones to score- not looking good. since i capt. arteta if he had gotten at least 2 bps i'd be through, damn.

          Yeah, was a tad annoying. But I got him out and immediately regretted the decision, then I discovered Odemwingie was injured and had to get him back in.

          I also took a very stupid gamble by getting Rooney in for Drogba...which I'll probably have to rectify by downgrading Cashley to Bosingwa and upgrading Rooney back to Drogba.

    Just got in and chuffed!

    Newcastle come back yesterday (granted we should be beating them at home!) and currently nearly in top 1000 for first time! Come on Samba! Tevez did it for me today...my plan was to sell next week...can I do it?!

    Looking for some bench warmers but of the variety that ACTUALLY get points? Surely Varney is a must have in that category now!? Almost 1m cheaper than the lauded Adam but scoring similar points per game - he has had a goal and/or assist in every match except V Chelski. OK you wont have him as captain but that shouldnt matter when you will have Drogs/Berb/Tevez etc. (i am his agent BTW 😉

    I'm seeing lots of happy people on here. Is there anyone as pissed off as I am with how this weekend went? Three of my players didn't play. I should have had Young coming off the bench with a clean sheet but for some reason he didn't play either. I have a grand total of one point coming off the bench

    I'm on 42 while all my rivals got 65+. I had Tevez as captain, but so did most of my rivals so it means nothing. I dropped places in most of my leagues, I'm out of the FFS cup and I've no idea where to go from here! Thank the lord there's 30 gameweeks left!

      To be fair neither were to do with him, Wayne Bridge gave away the free kick for the first one and Lescott was marking Harewood. Second goal well, I didn't see who he was marking but he may have been at fault.
