The draw for the second round of the Fantasy Football Scout Cup III, sponsored by Paddy Power, has been made and the 128 fixtures can be viewed right here. As you’ll see, the draw has thrown out some interesting match-ups…

There are plenty of candidates for the glamour tie of the round, such as Anorak Vs. Dirty_Harry, jms Vs. gooner dave and Keith Vs. Voronin is gone… to name a few. In a big tie for the second round in a row is greghammer95 who has been drawn against hello 911 it’s quagmire….

Round one top-scorer beeduybe may feel he doesn’t need a repeat performance to get to the last 128, with his round two opponent DundalkKid ranked much lower than him.

I’ve decided to give myself a bit of a challenge this week, so there’s no four point head start this time round. Not only that, but I’ve gone one further and handed myself a top 1000 opponent in JohnSteed01.

As for my colleagues, top 4k Granville has a tough draw against top 3k wolves_simmo, and Pure Olivia also has a higher ranked opponent in Ty_Durden67.

Moving on to our former champions, and the tough draws keep coming. FFS Cup II winner Jonty faces 368th in the world And_der_roo, and FFS Cup I champ donnellyc is a huge underdog in his tie against ham5ter.

The two Fantasy Managers handed a second bite of the cup apple haven’t faired any better it seems. TorresMagic takes on mobbonkhouse who, for the first time this season, moved into the top 1000 and eclipsed our Aussie friend in the overall rankings. As for Roger C, for who a red arrow didn’t see him drop out of the top 1000, he faces bill badger, a Fantasy Manager on a good run and with two free transfers in hand.

All fixtures are to be played during Gameweek 9. As always, a free £25 bet courtesy of Paddy Power awaits the top-scoring Fantasy Manager of the second round. Good luck to everyone involved, and I’ll bring you the results on Tuesday.

Wait to see if Ancelotti names his starting line-up at the Friday press conference. I think Alex will miss out, but if he is playing/or you think he's gonna play then I don't see the point.

I think Coleman can wait a week - Spurs to win 2-1.

Wait until tomorrow before you do anything, Drogba MAY not play, he probably will BUT you never know you might do the transfers tonight and find out he is not playing tomorrow. So wait until after Ancelotti (Might) releases his team tomorrow. I think it will MAKE DO anyways.

Ok that was weird, my tummy literally just burped. And sort of did what your cheeks do when you burp, like bulge out sort of thing.

Anyways. How do you rate my chances in the cup people? My main differential is A.Cole, I have taken a 4 point hit though. Here are the links to the teams.

What do you all think about this potential move...

This week do ShawX > Jara & Alex > Cole = 4 point hit
    Newt week do Nasri > Brunt/N'Zogbia/Adam & Malouda > Fabregas = 4 point hit.

I'd clearly rather not have an overall 8 point hit, but Alex is injured and price dropping, and I need Fabregas in my time with Lampard coming back soon.

    Quick poll:

    A] Tevez - Adam - Simpson (+ 2 four point hits)

    B] Malouda - Carroll - Coleman/Konchesky

Will be able to have Malouda for this week for both. Will also be getting in Fabregas next week, in both instances.

Really, I'm debating whether Tevez is a 'must have' long-term.

So lads, my cup game basically comes down to.....

A.Cole Vs Boateng (The City one)
Jara Vs Coleman (Unless I start Coleman)
N'Zogbia Vs Adam/Nasri (One of those two)

Or I could not start Carroll and have a differential of Davies in there, or even start Coleman and Jara, and bench Carroll?

My team has the players on the left his are on the right. Should I play Coleman to be safe? And will A.Cole and N'Zog score at least 4 more points than Boateng and Adam/Nasri??

Chaps, what combo do you think is best long term:

    A) Fabs / VDV / Tevez
    B) Fabs / Malouda / Chamakh

I like A but getting rid of the top scoring midfielder pains me somewhat.

My plan is Gerrard + Chamakh > VDV + Tevez this week (2 freebies) and Malouda - Fabs next week.

And also, do I need to do it tonight, Tevez is 93% on totalfpl and rising, will he rise tonight??

I've never had Tevez and I don't know why. He always comes back to haunt me yet I can't bring myself to get him in. Might be forced to soon though, especially if he keeps playing like he is.

I'd say the top one is better though.

Thanks both for your reply. I have never had Tevez either and want 2 big strikers (I have Drogs) but can't have that plus Malouda and Fabs. I do think Tevez and VDV will outscore Malouda and Chamakh though.
