David Moyes sees Mikel Arteta assumedly fail his late fitness test to join Leon Osman in being replaced by Diniyar Bilyaletdinov and, returning from injury himself, Steven Pienaar. The teams in full are…

We’ll then take in the 3pm kick-offs with the armband heavy Chelsea hosting Wolves drawing the most fantasy attention around other fixtures like West Brom versus Fulham and Sunderland versus Aston Villa, to name a couple. Rounding out our Saturday will be West Ham versus Newcastle in the late kick-off, Andy Carroll probably had to rent a car to make it down today.

      I did the bale > VDV thing a few weeks back.. didnt want to but i did it and i havent looked back since, its such a pity that the rest of my team is so shite.

      You will regret it at every passing gameweek as he racks up the points and bale promises so much but fails to deliver..

      I think the only guaranteed Spurs defender is Dawson when fit. The others are rotated quite a bit

        its never about rotation in defense for Arry. its just that there has been so many injuries, and then corluka turned utter shite over the summer, while bale was pulled back to LB twice.

        Hutton is now a first XI members imho (thank god we had a replacement for corluka right now)

    Woke up to a power cut so only just got online (had to go to a uni computer room!), and sod's law is telling me Drogba is going to be pants. My main league rivals don't have him, and neither does my cup opponent (who is playing 5 defenders and leaving Rooney and Carroll on the bench!). Not a great start to the cup either, he's captained VDV, gotta hope Drogba shoots some rockets...

        Speaking of all that, they're still going strong at fantasyfootballassistance. This week they recommend Adam, Downing and Coleman (although they do stress "With a wealth of defensive options the risk is that Coleman sees himself on the bench rather than playing, and if this is the case bringing him into your team was a waste.").
