With no early fixture this gameweek, we are forced to twiddle our thumbs whilst waiting for the afternoon fixtures. At least we have five 3pm kick-off’s to enjoy and, for most of us, see how our captain choices get on…

The bulk of which are at the Emirates today as Arsenal take on West Ham United. The fortunes of Cesc Fabregas, Samir Nasri and Marouane Chamakh are the key things to look out for, as most of us expect the away side to get a drubbing.

Having been held there last year, Chelsea have what many would consider a potentially tricky away fixture at Blackburn Rovers. In this game is another favourite for captaincy this week, Didier Drogba, who has a great record against Rovers.

Another game which will be closely followed is Everton’s game against Stoke City. There has been lots of investment in Everton players this week all over the pitch. Leighton Baines and Tim Cahill both made the Scout Picks this week, Seamus Coleman remains high on the transfer in list, Ayegbeni Yakubu is also attracting some investment, and there is always Mikel Arteta lurking about.

With Carlos Tevez in Argentina, there perhaps not as much focus on Manchester City’s visit to Wolves this week as there would have been. Nor will there be many eyes on Wigan’s trip to Craven cottage.

Team news is trickling in by the minute, so keep your eyes on the comments to see what it will bring.

In the evening game, Manchester United take on Tottenham Hotspur, who have not won at Old Trafford in over 20 years.

Keep up-to-date with all the goings on in today’s Dugout Discussion.

You have to feel for Green today. This was the commentary from bbc live text before they conceded:

    85:29
Marouane Chamakh takes a shot. Save by Robert Green.
    Correction - 84:51
Francesc Fabregas takes a shot. Save made by Robert Green.
    84:51
Theo Walcott takes a shot. Save by Robert Green.
    82:46
Theo Walcott takes a shot. Save made by Robert Green.

Wouldn't begrudge him the 1 bp. Fabs 3, Nasri 2, of course.

Arshavin had his moments- most of them painful to watch...

Fabs should definitely get BP's imo- his passing caused a lot of problems for Green and co.

Yeah, he created basically every good chance we have, bar the one we actually scored.

Arshavin was complete dirt again, we should have got him off a lot earlier. Song was pretty poor too actually, tried too many 'Fabregas passes', which obviously didn't come off, because he's not Fabregas.

Fabregas was our best player by a country mile, Nasri was okay and Walcott really upped the tempo when he came on. Those are the only 3 Arsenal players I'd hand bonus to.

Always is, you play the odds and hope they come up for you. Sometimes it just won't happen.

It still means the non Fabregas owners aren't seemingly going to rush and buy him, so he still stands out as a bit different. Even if a disappointment today.

It's only been 10 games! Chelsea might have a couple of injuries!

The league will look different when you drop 3 points next week jamsiep.
GW 17 to 19 could make or break things for Chelsea too.
