It’s time for Monday Night Football to bedazzle our television screens once more as we look forward to Blackpool hosting West Brom. Not many people would have expected that sentiment even at the beginning of the season, but this has the making of a great game, and if the past is any indication we’ll be in for a hum dinger of a game as the two respective fixtures last season saw 10 goals in total.

Nil-nil is clearly on the cards then now that’s jinxed, and the team news let’s us know that Charlie Adam has recovered from his stitched up ankle to pass muster for Blackpool while Elliot Grandin comes in for Marlon Harewood. On the back of his two goal haul at Leicester (damn him), Simon Cox comes in with Pablo Ibanez for the injured duo of James Morrison and Jonas Olsson for the traveling West Brom. Peter Odemwingie is nowhere to be seen, still…

Im sure its quite possible to survive without drogba, hes not coring that many points and all the cash saved would be a huge benefit in defence

Instead of thee 4m defenders you could have three six million defenders or two 8m defenders

  Not convinced about Utd's ability to regularly keep clean sheets. That would remove Vidic from the equation. Don't make the mistake of chasing last weeks points.

      Ouch, cr*p week - 15pts on the bench...bramble red and newc conceding so late did not help!
      
      Save your trsfr i woild suggest. Play Jones at home in Bramble's place and play crainey at home vs Everton.
      
      Im tempted to make a trsfr but think i will have to hold out especially with tevez still inj. Im hoping the fact that the next 3 gameweeks happen within 10 days will lead to inj and will catch most managers unaware.

      Yeah, i have Tevez on bench but it seems he will def miss WBA and even man U derby. I want him for the season and will just have to sit it out. Might replace him later with RVP.
      
      Malouda-->Arteta is what im considering as well. Just dont know if he will "survive" 3 games in 10 days. BPool is not a easy place to go to!

  I'm not sure Everton defenders are the right call this week. I'd be wary starting anyone playing away at Blackpool.
  
  I'd like to get Arteta and Jags for Malouda and Williamson but not sure I'd do then both this week. Arteta yes, but can't see Everton cleanie to be honest.

A disappointing week thanks to Jara and Brunt last night, so a question on the Metro game instead. Am currently in 735th place ( would have been better if I'd played Bale instead of Jara!) is that any good or are most of you ahead of that? Does anyone know how many people are playing in total?

    This season has been really odd so far, there are plenty of good managers out there really struggling. I've been playing for the last 5 seasons and have finished top 2k the last 2, this season I'm currently down in 400,000. Absolute nightmare.
