It’s time for Monday Night Football to bedazzle our television screens once more as we look forward to Blackpool hosting West Brom. Not many people would have expected that sentiment even at the beginning of the season, but this has the making of a great game, and if the past is any indication we’ll be in for a hum dinger of a game as the two respective fixtures last season saw 10 goals in total.

Nil-nil is clearly on the cards then now that’s jinxed, and the team news let’s us know that Charlie Adam has recovered from his stitched up ankle to pass muster for Blackpool while Elliot Grandin comes in for Marlon Harewood. On the back of his two goal haul at Leicester (damn him), Simon Cox comes in with Pablo Ibanez for the injured duo of James Morrison and Jonas Olsson for the traveling West Brom.     Malouda – Fabs(c) – Nani – N’Zogbia
    Drogs – Berbs – Carroll

    Looks good to me on paper ffs. Even Nani’s haul means nothing because everyone’s got him. Such a nightmare of a gameweek… all my rivals with their Fosters / Danns / Nolans / Adams just keep on pulling away. Worst season ever.

          I think it is a 3-0 forfeit, so it would only make sense to do that if it was looking like a cricket score was on the cards. Still wont happen though, imagine the fines etc they would get not to mention the suspensions.

      I always thought it was 6 men? Baggies played Sheff Utd a fews ago, and The Blades went down to 6 men, a combination of send offs and injuries, match was abandoned.

    Thinking of bringing Bale back in now Van der Vaart is injured but need some differentiators as the whole mini-league is attack of the clones. Terrible season so far.

    West Brom 2 men off and they have used 2 subs before HT.. it would be quite amusing if there were a few injuries in the 2nd half.. just to see how they cope with 8 men.. ont think ive ever seen a match when a team has been reduced to 8 players
