The draw for the first round of the 2019/20 FFS Cup FFS Cup

The fourth round draw for the Fantasy Football Scout Cup III, sponsored by Paddy Power, has been made today as promised, and can be viewed right here. Don’t get used to the luxury of almost two days notice however, as the next three gameweek’s are in quick succession. Survive that and your into the quarter-finals…

A look at round four first though, and first out of the hat is the tie between King Eric and Roger, with the latter holding a slender four point lead overall.

Last weeks top-scorer, and 62nd in the world, Ann_der_roo has top 4k opponent the Mozmeister. Ann_der_roo will be hoping to avoid going the way of our previous top-scorers, who have both already bitten the dust.

FFS Cup I champ donnellyc (sitting a modest 180k in the world) will once again be thanking the stars with a seemingly easy tie against 519,175th overall Manif.

Scout representative Granville will also be confident in winning his tie against Chris81, who is perhaps lucky to still be in the tournament after two red arrows on the bounce.

Elsewhere, Mark’s conqueror tippmann is still going strong and he faces livnal, Soup or Man has a tricky away tie against camdiggy, and Spooney takes on the infamous bill badger.

All ties to be played over GW11. As always the top-scorer in the round will receive a free £25 bet courtesy of sponsors Paddy Power.

Good luck to all 64 fantasy managers battling it out this weekend.

the only "safe" options in the chelsea defencive lineup is Cole and Terry right?

gents currently looking at having nani AND van der vaart out. I dont normally do hypotheticals but it's looking quite likely. If this happens, would you play coleman or carrol given the choice? Both offensive, carrol ovbiously more so this weekend, but newcaslte wont have alot of ball- mind you, last night arsenal weren't amazing at set pieces defending.

Then there's coleman- everton are picking up clean sheets alot lately, and he might get an assist. Blackpool were shite the other night.

when you put the two versus each other its actually quite a difficult decision

the point you made which is most relevant is how much of the ball will newcastle see at the emirates ? probably not much.

its a good point, but i dont think its enough to make me choose a player against top 4 opposition against a player vs bottom 4 opposition!

im thinking of losing carroll for good this week, i have simpson, there is good value this week in chicharito and after this week i can think about dembele, odemwiengie etc etc..

im thinking that most teams go there, park the bus and dont do much else rather than keep the scoreline down. i dont see newcastle doing anything different. ok carroll has been not bad recently but after his hat-trick against villa and the goal the following week he done nowt for ages.

I would play Carroll, RBJ. I think he will cause Arsenal all kinds of problems at the back and they have looked far from convincing at the Emirates recently. Coleman was lucky to get 6 pts in the last game with Moyes hauling him off just after 60 mins.

    Jarvis, Wolves

    Adam, Fabs
    Drog, Berb, Dembele

    subs, Nani, Routledge, Malouda

    2,8 in bank.

    What to do!!!???

Must sell Routledge or Malouda now.

    Routledge for Bale
    Routledge for 4,5 m mid

true, milijas has only started the last two epl games and jarvis has started 10. However, milijas has probably already scored more than half the points that jarvis has scored all season.

Wolves are not very good, and teams know jarvis gets them forward. The problem is jarvis doesn't shoot often and he's responsible for bringing it forward. He makes the odd assist here and there but not much more.

Milijas has taken more than 13 shoots the last two games, he put like 8 or 9 of them on target and scored one. He's the Wolves danger man right now.

I have Nani/Fabregas/VDV/Nasri/Adam. Praying at least 1 of the first 3 there are fit for this weekend!
Have now got 2.1 in bank though after bringing in Ameobi as my cheap striker for Odemwingie. Now want to buy Walcott or Bale to replace Adam but have no idea which one to bring in. Both have good fixtures coming up and both about to hit top form I think. This decision is slowly driving me insane. Any advice would be most welcome! Thanks

I don't think Walcott has a regular spot on the team, whereas Bale does, and he's bound to get returns even with VDV on the team...

But if what I'm reading is that you did your free transfer for the week I wouldn't take a 4 point hit on this... Wait and see maybe VDV is injured for longer and come next week you might do VDV=> Bale...

Walcott might be worth a gamble if it wasn't for the fitness questions around Nani, VDV and Fabs, although I expect Fabs to play. Bale is virtually a guaranteed starter, Walcott isn't.

Okay - this afternoon feels a lot better than this morning. Assuming the news on Odemingie (watch out City!)is as positive as it sounds I'm thinking I can get away with just a free transfer:

    Foster(Robinson)
Elmo, A Cole, Alcaraz (simpson/givet or similar, Jara)
    Nani(?), Fabs, Brunt, Adam (Malouda)
    Drogba, Berbatov, Odemwingie

Playing 3-4-3 if Nani is fit 4-3-3 if he doesn't

Who to replace Konchesky with this week? Phil Jones seems like my best bet, and it'd give me an extra 0.5m to play with next week.

Why do I only face top 1K opponents? You're making it tough boys, hope I get a little lucky 🙂

No clue what to do this GW (for a change) - all these possible injuries could be a real killer. Hope Nani'll make it!
Malouda's injury might just be what I needed to get rid but 3 games in one week, it might be a very unfortunate move.

I might upgrade my defense a little, seems the way to go atm, isn't it? However, seeing Bale in CL, you just want him straight back, LEGEND!

Opinion on 2 starters and 1st Sub from Bosingwa, Richards, N'Zog and Carroll...

    Swaying towards Richards Carroll (N'Zog)

Can't see Bos starting especially with Ivanovic's midweek return

Nani is one big headed tw*t isn't he, Ok I like him from a FF perspective, but if he wasn't in my team (Especially for that goal on saturday) then I would absolutely hate him, I have a slight soft spot for him as he is in my team...

Because Blackpool will probably go into freefall now and Walcott or Bale are going to be more consistent than Adam.

I'll take a 4 point hit as I want to get them before their price rises and hopefully they will get me more than 4 points plus what Adam will get.

I'm a big gooner and Theo is going to start playing a lot now. He offers us pace which we don't have without him and he will get a lot of goals for us.

    Still undecided!

I'm playing him, if he doesn't start I don't see him coming on unless they are desperate, but I think Man U will do fine without him anyways, if he plays it is a bonus. If not, then my well not so bench can sort it out.
