With presumably the vast majority of your fantasy squad in action yesterday (or to play tomorrow), today the somewhat unfashionable teams are in action looking to impress.

First up is Blackburn Rovers Vs. Aston Villa at Ewood Park…

The home side make one significant change from their expected line-up, as super-sub Jason Roberts finally gets the nod ahead of Nikola Kalinic.

For Villa, Stephen Ireland makes a return to the side, at the expense of the impressive Mark Albrighton. Blast-from-the-past Robert Pires makes the bench.

Here are the line-ups in full…

Blackburn XI: Robinson, Salgado, Samba, Nelsen, Givet, Dunn, Jones, Pedersen, Hoilett, Roberts, El-Hadji Diouf

Aston Villa XI: Friedel, Luke Young, Dunne, Clark, Warnock, Downing, Ireland, Hogg, Bannan, Ashley Young, Agbonlahor

Then it’s off to Craven Cottage, as Fulham host under-pressure Roberto Mancini’s Manchester City, in the 4pm kick-off.

Finally, if like me you no players involved today, there’s the wait to see how many places in the overall rankings you’ll slide as a result.

      What a f*cking joke. Took an 8 point to get in Toure, Odemwingie and Nani, what a fail. Now my Kolarov and Toure clean sheets have gone. I give up. Knee-jerk 8 point hit coming up.

      Are there any better mids out there for 5.7m or less than N'Zogbia?

      Am looking at doing Malouda & Hernandez -> Tevez & xxx tonight before Malouda's price falls again!

        I brought Nzog in last night. I thought about looking at fixtures and someone like Lee of Bolton or Jarvis, but I know that I'll only want to play them when they've got good home fixtures, whereas for some reason I am happy to play Nzog every game. Don't know why.

        Gamst Pedersen is at 5.7m I think? 4 goals in past 4 league games, plus a goal for his country in mid-week. Blackburn have some kind fixures coming up after the Man United game too. And if it helps, he has a good record against Man U!

            He won't be on pens, but freekicks which he seems to be on fire with, some corners and also his long throws which i'm pretty sure will create a few goals goals over the next 5-6 games

            Yep decent display. After the first 10 mintues i didn't think we had a hope of a clean sheet or a win as Villa (and Downing in particular) looked leathal on the break. Luckily the haven't got a front man! Rode our luck a bit but the defence played pretty well. 2 BP for Nelsen i expect

              Yeah i thought Downing looked really good in spells, was hoping u would concede with my rival having Jones and me without any of your guys. Generally a solid defencive display, bodes well for the coming weeks.

      There goes my chances in my H2H with the Fulham goal (Only 1 goal, not a false go shout). I had half a chance had Kolarov got the cleanie. Now I don't stand a chance unless Kolarov scores.
