With presumably the vast majority of your fantasy squad in action yesterday (or to play tomorrow), today the somewhat unfashionable teams are in action looking to impress.

First up is Blackburn Rovers Vs. Aston Villa at Ewood Park…

The home side make one significant change from their expected line-up, as super-sub Jason Roberts finally gets the nod ahead of Nikola Kalinic.

For Villa, Stephen Ireland makes a return to the side, at the expense of the impressive Mark Albrighton. Blast-from-the-past Robert Pires makes the bench.

Here are the line-ups in full…

Blackburn XI: Robinson, Salgado, Samba, Nelsen, Givet, Dunn, Jones, Pedersen, Hoilett, Roberts, El-Hadji Diouf

Aston Villa XI: Friedel, Luke Young, Dunne, Clark, Warnock, Downing, Ireland, Hogg, Bannan, Ashley Young, Agbonlahor

Then it’s off to Craven Cottage, as Fulham host under-pressure Roberto Mancini’s Manchester City, in the 4pm kick-off.

Finally, if like me you no players involved today, there’s the wait to see how many places in the overall rankings you’ll slide as a result.

As always, all this action can be followed with a visit to our Dugout Discussion, which will remain open throughout the day.

The MOTD guys are idiots.... Laughing off Alcaraz's claim that Felcher dived..... I'm not disputing the fact that Alcaraz, and Rodallega (although I question exactly how dangerous his tackle actually was), should have been sent off but Alcaraz made absolutely no contact with Felcher.

Oh and N'Zogbia should have had a penalty. Martin Atkinson is one of the worst refs in the league....

Why do people still use this "no contact" argument?

There was no contact because Fletcher got out of the way. To suggest that a player has to allow himself to get potentially injured to win a free-kick is garbage.

If a foul was committed on N'Zog it was clearly outside the box.

More ABU-nonsense from Jamsie "6 points clear. Casual" P.

I'm actually not having a go at Fletcher... I'm having a go at the MOTD guys who just laughed at Alcaraz's claim that he didn't touch Felcher, which he clearly didn't.

Like I said, I thought he deserved to be sent off for a completely moronic tackle, the same with Rodallega.

Dunno what ABU stands for, but I'm not trying to come across that way whatever it means.

I don't actually hate Utd or the majority of their fans (the actual Utd fans at least, not the little kids in Asia) I just hate a few of their players... Evra, Fletcher, Rooney, Nani etc..

I hate Liverpool a helluva lot more than United, but fortunately no one needs to worry about them anymore.

As a bloke from Bolton, I saw so many of my mates supporting Man United growing up, rather than supporting the town where they were from. It made me sick that people would support the better teams just for the sake of it.

Even now, theres plenty of United fans across the UK who are not from anywhere near Manchester.

Its a brand not a football club.

              Anyone but United.

Sorry, but you are coming across that way. You try to cover yourself by saying it was a yellow and he should have been sent off, but then you have a go at Fletcher for "diving". You're trying too hard to have a go at United.

Then to claim that was a penalty for Wigan just confirms your bias.

Concentrate on your mob's recent failings Jamsie.

Top of the league. Nice try though.

I have seen anything other than the MOTD highlights from the Chelsea game, but by all accounts we played pretty well and just came across a side with a keeper in the form of his life, and a side that show absolutely no ambition going forwards. It's hardly surprising that so few people turn up to St. Andrews when they play such dire football. I said at the start of the season that I think they will go down, and I stand by that...

The result vs Sunderland was a lot more worrying than the one yesterday. Mind you, when they come back to back their is definitely cause for concern.

We'll batter a Newcastle side without Collicini (his elbow was hilarious btw) and Barton. I'll captain Drogba.

You must be worried about the quality of your squad though. For all Romans dirty ££££ you have a dire set of subs. If i were a Chelsea fan i'd be very very worried about the next 10 years. When fatty, JT, ACole, Drog all go, you'll be mid table at best. This isn't Wum, i don't think Carlo or Roman are investing in the future at all, but that's what happens when you buy a new team rather than invest in a clubs structure.

If you had Vidic out, Ferdinand in need of an operation, Scholes out, Fletcher suspended, Anderson injured for 6 months and Rooney suffering from some deadly illness, then you'd struggle.

I'm not trying to cover myself.... No one can possibly claim that Alcaraz didn't deserve to be sent off, my initial point was that Hansen and Shearer are mugs for laughing off Alcaraz's claim that he didn't touch Fletcher. As for 'diving', what else do you call it when someone falls to the ground without any contact?

Vidic fouled N'Zogbia in and outside the box. Should have been a penalty or at least a free kick.

I don't think he actually believes fletcher dived, because if he does it's the most ludicrous case of blinkers i've ever seen. Notice fletcher's reaction? Just gets up, dusts himself down and walks off.

Felcher could have easily avoided Alcaraz's tackle without falling to the ground. And the only reason he didn't pretend to be hurt was because he was understandably ashamed of himself.

Re-post, didn't realise there was a new article.

Playing cautious with the transfers and captain choice the past 5 weeks hasn’t gone well. I’ve taken an uncharacteristic hit and finally offloaded Malouda for a .4m profit. There’s always a good fixture just around the corner for Chelsea but having both Malouda and Drogba is costing me points.

In comes Bale. Mainly to boost the coffers but also because he’s playing so damn well. Harry seems to have accepted that he must play him from the left wing to be at his most dangerous, so fixtures aside, I’m happy to ride the Bale bandwagon (part 2) in tandem with Van der Vaart.
