Ain’t snow stopping us now. Despite the downpour of white stuff in the North-East St James’ Park is good to go to play host to Chelsea and that is where we start our Sunday affairs.

Newcastle welcome Cheikh Tiote back into their team after suspension, Sol Campbell and Steven Taylor cover for the suspended Williamson and Coloccini while Wayne Routledge comes in for Kevin Nolan who has picked up a knock. Chelsea play the eleven as revealed earlier in the week..

Newcastle XI: Krul; Simpson, Campbell, S. Taylor, Enrique; Routledge, Guthrie, Tiote, Gutierrez; Ameobi, Carroll

Chelsea XI: Cech; Bosingwa, Alex, Ivanovic, Cole; Mikel, Ramires, Malouda; Anelka, Drogba, Kalou

After we weather the storms up north we have Spurs playing host to Liverpool to warm our cockles while the gameweek comes to a close.

All of you looking for your matchday fix can of course head into the Dugout Discussion to discuss your favourite snowflake or, preferably, Fernando Torres’ impending hat-trick.

So, Drogba kicks the ball into Enrique's hand from 4 yards away, but that's fine. Yet when Taylor heads the ball into Drogba's arm from half a yard away, that's not fine.

    Righteo, as you were.

Old Trafford/Emirates doesn't matter, they've got a pasting in the last 2 seasons where ever we've played.

Ha ha, it's brilliant when United come through a bad patch, because everyone who has been preaching about end-of-eras and a club in crisis, desperately try to find another angle to slate the club.

Mikel looked a bit dodgy but Kalou and Ramies should be downright ashamed of themselves. What they brought to Chelsea's attacking play tonight I don't know.

The funny thing about Ramires is that his supposedly biggest strength is to run with the ball, and he's not very good at that.

Yeah, Froch was immense. Glad there's no rematch though, there wouldn't be much point to it. I hope Sky pick him up now. It's shameful that he's not a household name.

I love Martinez. He was my favourite non-British fighter after his first fight with Williams. I was all set to put put him P4P#3, then JM Marquez reminded me last night how phenomenal he is.

Marquez is ridiculous. haven't seen the fight yet, but I've read he got knocked down in the 3rd. He's one tougher little f*cker - shame he got merked on the scales by Mayweather.

Best I've seen from Froch - had no idea Abraham would be such a good match for him. Trouble with Martinez is I don't see where he goes now. Pavlik is done, no point in another rematch with Williams. Be great to see him get another big match.

I watched it this morning, and he was hurt badly but his powers of recovery are extraordinary. Katsidis fought a good fight, but JMM was unbelievable.

Froch has got the best record of any active British fighter.

I think Martinez will either just go for a pay-day next against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., or unify against Sturm.

That's got to be true of Froch - there's barely an active fighter anywhere who's consistently taken on the calibre of fighter he has recently.

Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler, Abraham. That's sick. Yeah Chavez Jr. makes sense. Be a rude awakening for that guy, after all the journeymen he's been fed.

Rooney hasn't scored from open play in years, and United's away from is terrible.

That's my point- with his assists and BP's, you don't even need him to score from open play atm. Although he clearly will start doing so....

          No, Blackburn were absolutely disgraceful.

Rooney made one decent pass and mis-connected with a header. Doesn't mean he's going to be "miles better than Messi" again.

Hang on, he also put it on a plate for Obertan who bottled his finish, put himself in some great positions, including when Nani should've squared it for a simple tap-in and linked up with Berbatov beautifully all-day. So saying he only did two things yesterday is just plain stupid.

he's looked better each game he's played since coming back, just needs a goal and he'll find his form which i think could come at blackpool. 9 points from 5 games with drogs is enough to gamble on it.

Seems a reasonable transfer - I'd do the same but I have other more pressing issues and wouldn't want to take a 4pt hit taking Drogba out when he has a home game to come.

I think Drogs was all right, but when you fork out 13m for someone you want a bit more than that.

We've really kept faith with him for a long time now and although I'm still undecided I'll have a proper look what I could do with the money.

I'm with you Gargamel just about had enough of Drogba was expecting a goalfest at Newc when their defence had lost 2 CBS typical!

The team above me had two players for that game two typical his is Carroll and Malouda. He'll probably get BPs to he's walking it now.

10pts from 3 players last game, that's average.
I'll need VDV to get more than 10 pts to break the 60pt barrier.
