Some of us have been snowed in, some of us have been knocked down by winter viruses for more days than they would wish and others are just waiting for Fernando Torres to shine a light on their season. I confess, all those three are me so enough of the pity party as we’ve got one final fixture to close out gameweek sixteen.

The news that Fernando Torres wife has gone into labour (oh god, not that old chestnut again!) will cause many, myself included, to kick up a storm as Ryan Babel comes in to replace the Spanish maestro this evening. Some end to the gameweek. Teams in full are…

      i'm trolling. earlier in the season i captained torres home to blackpool and some guy decided to wait until after he went off injured on 10 mins to tell me it was a stupid choice despite torres being the bookies' favourite for anytime scorer that week

Andy are you doing an Alonso or is this real? Glad to say I don't have Torres here's hoping for Konch to bang in one from thirty yards then in a 1-0 victory. Konch to get 3BPs for such a great goal. Would finish off a good GW for me.

Stuck a fiver on Maradona being next Newcasle manager, he has said before he wanted to manage in the PL and if he stays away from the Iran job then there's a decent chance.
