Some of us have been snowed in, some of us have been knocked down by winter viruses for more days than they would wish and others are just waiting for Fernando Torres to shine a light on their season. I confess, all those three are me so enough of the pity party as we’ve got one final fixture to close out gameweek sixteen.

Anyone see any merit in me replacing barton with Ashley young for the next 2 GWs until VDV returns? They do have nice fixtures, but, having said that they look pretty horrible at the moment. Want to bolster my midfield a bit seeing as Tevez is out this weekend!

I'm a Spurs fan, so I'm quite familiar with Chris - I think he would have been found out at this level; he's not really a leader of men, and although fully-qualified as a coach, I don't think he's big enough for the Toon.

Ashley is a total twunt, though - he should have let Chris finish his contract (I believe he was contracted until the end of the season). His next job will make or break his reputation...
