Three Premier League games are served up today, before the heavyweight clash tomorrow night at Old Trafford. We start with two games (both kicking-off at 1.30pm), one at Molineux as Wolves face Birmingham City in a Midlands derby, and the other at the Reebok where the Wanderers will be looking to make it a great sporting weekend for the town of Bolton, as they take on Blackburn Rovers in-front of the Sky cameras.

The team sheets are in from both fixtures, and here is the team news…

Bolton line-up exactly as predicted, with the potent strike-force of Kevin Davies and Johan Elmander heading a 4-4-2. For the visitors, there is just one significant name on the team sheet, or rather omitted from it, as Martin Olsson starts instead of David Dunn, who sits on the bench.

Bolton XI: Jaaskelainen, Ricketts, Cahill, Knight, Robinson, Lee, Mark Davies, Holden, Petrov, Elmander, Kevin Davies

Blackburn XI: Robinson, Salgado, Samba, Nelsen, Givet, Olsson, Emerton, Jones, Pedersen, El-Hadji Diouf, Roberts

As for the derby, and neither Kevin Doyle nor Matt Jarvis shook off injuries to feature in any capacity today. Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Stephen Hunt come in. Liam Ridgewell and Craig Gardner don’t make the Birmingham starting line-up, with only the latter on the bench. Nikola Zigic and David Murphy get the nod.

Wolves XI: Hennessey, Zubar, Berra, Stearman, Elokobi, Foley, Edwards, Milijas, Ward, Hunt, Ebanks-Blake

Birmingham XI: Foster, Carr, Johnson, Dann, Murphy, Larsson, Bowyer, Ferguson, Fahey, Jerome, Zigic

Then it’s down to the capital where a buoyant Spurs play the faltering champions Chelsea at 4pm. The visitors will be desperate to reach the league summit once more, and the hosts will be eager to close the gap to fourth after tasting, and liking, Champions League football.

To keep track of and to join in the discussion of all the day’s action, head to our chatroom which is available right here.

I already have Nasri. Stoke at home could be a high scoring game. Seeings as all the other big teams have tough games it seems obvious. Only if he plays tomorrow though.

I'm not selling the big guy.

He often scores vs Arsenal and Utd, and fixtures after that are very nice.

Although if there was no issue with Tevez then I'd be very temtped to get him back in for Drogba.

He often scores Vs Arsenal, not Utd. 1 goal in the league and 1 in the FA cup final i think is his grand total. That was before he started collecting his pension too. Carroll > Drog.

i did say drogba would do something this week, just didnt expect him to miss a penalty. It was always a close between torres and drogba for me.

This is probably the ideal time to get torres in now, his home form is probably the best. You can bookmark this.

The men who were rescued from a mine in Chile have arrived in the UK to see Arsenal play Manchester United on Monday.

Some of the group are believed to be United fans and will get VIP access to meet Sir Alex Ferguson and his players before the match.

They were applauded and questioned by reporters as they walked through Manchester Airport.

Oh well thats another hole they will have to be rescued from...Boom Boom 🙂

Now throw in Drogba as my captain and my life-long love for Arsenal and we have quite the conundrum. But real life before fantasy football every time fellows.

They're saying it's Tevez' representatives trying to get him a better deal and they've been doing it all year. I'd wait for more news as he'll probably play against Everton.

You should lay Matt if you are that way inclined 😉 betting on these things is a huge risk as somebody has the results before it closes so somebody has the edge over you so too risky this bet RBJ. A quid for a laugh but anymore is crazy on such events.

i wouldnt be suprised if one direction wins it by a landslide, considering the amount of momentum thy could generate amongst women. Personally i think matt should win it, he was my favourite from the off and is a better singer then all of them.

      From FPL site

      Qualifying

Gameweek 17 (11 Dec) is a qualifying round. The top 2,097,152 scorers in Gameweek 17 will enter the first round in Gameweek 18 (18 Dec).

If there are more than 2,097,152 qualifiers then there will be a random draw between the lowest scoring teams to see who qualifies.
