In case you missed it last week, Iā€™m delighted to say that Fantasy Football Scout was nominated for the ā€œBest Niche Websiteā€ award over at Soccerlens. A nice little pre-Christmas present.

    i have bought some fantastic liverpool fc christmas cards and it is giving me much joy writing them to all the people i know who support arsenal, chelsea, man utd etc, knowing that they will have to display them in their homes...

          i made the exact same three transfers, what a kick in the teeth to see samba subbed at 58! sickening. brunt was my 4 pt hit just before half 11 when i started seeing games being cancelled as i had 2 transfers free... gutted!! at least bent got an assist

    A small (very very small) plus from all these matches off is that it gives players a week extra to recover.. the likes of fabs, lamps, van der vart will surely be well over injuries in time for the next game. btw now that both van der vart and defoe are back who will be on pens do you think?

      It'll pick the player that played with the highest value/form, dependent of what you chose.

          In that case, it'll go to the person with the highest value who plays, i.e. Tevez. I think all the players with higher value are not playing this week, e.g. Torres etc

      You don't have a set emergency captain. Your emergency captain is any player that's played and has the highest price or form of all your players that did play.

      He's probably first choice now, but that doesn't mean that O'Shea, Brown and Neville won't play occasionally. I would steer clear of Rafael as surely these other players will play.

    Having taken a 4pt hit to get Tchoi in for the game that was bound to go ahead... I'm currently losing my cup -1 to my oppositions 2pts although with Dunn on my bench and auto captains to come in it could be close šŸ™‚

    good job I didn't do the G Cahill to Samba transfer, I'd have missed out on those delicious two bonus pts. On 5 so far, have no idea what to do next week even with two free trannies and really need the Man City game to go ahead.
