      Now only if the Pool-Tottenhem game can go away, I may make the next FPL round. Last year I lost in round 1 when I lost to a guy who never made a move from week one (and very likely was not an active participant). Only because of lost fixtures and pure luck.

    If the commentators mention how brilliant Scott Parker is again, I'm going to lose it!!

    Dire game, Pedersen looks pretty impressive (although my stream is dodgy so may not actually be him the whole time šŸ˜‰ ). His passing is very good, and he's tackling a lot better than I'd expect him too. Salgado looks very susceptible to pace down the left, but other than that B'Burn are looking pretty solid. Things are looking promising for my Samba clean sheet!

      People are making it out as if Tevez has the easiest fixture ever and is guaranteed to score at least twice, or something like that....

      Well, I hate to break it to you, he doesn't. He's playing Everton who are, IMO, one of the best teams in the league, who don't concede too many goals and beat City twice last season.

          Not one of the best teams in the league.. I don't think he's got an easy fixture, hence why I didn't captain him and Everton's record at Eastlands is very good but if the game does go ahead, he isn't a bad captain considering.

          Second half of last season they were without a doubt one of the best teams in the league, and nowt much has changed since then, they've just been unlucky and desperately need a reliable goalscorer.

            arteta has been appalling this season...cahill has been saving them draws for months...rodwell and baines are looking good

            apart from that they have shite like fellaini, beckford, yakubu, distins not too bad....

            coleman looks good attacking but his last ball is poor

      it seems to be more of a concern to the people than anything, most reports state that the pitches are fine!

      i say tell the people the game won't be open to public (for these safety concerns) and get the players to play anyway!

      but i guess in the end the fans do want to go to the games, and the clubs do want the money from tickets, i guess it'd screw season ticket holders too...

      meh, just harden up UK. football is a winter sport,

      not as if Australia cancel cricket because it's too hot and there's worries people travelling to the game will suffer from sunstroke...

    Time to clarify how FPL Captaincy rules work.

    I have Nasri (C). he doesn't play.
    My reserve captain is selected on form, probably Nani.
    If the reserve captain doesn't play, does the captains armband go to another points-scorer in the team.
    Or have I been shafted by the weather?

    ALBION have been forced to postpone tomorrow's Black Country derby with Wolves due to the adverse weather conditions.

    The club have done everything in their power to get the game on but have had to admit defeat on safety grounds.

    More than 20cm of snow fell between the early hours of this morning and this afternoon, with no apparent let up, and temperatures are predicted to drop as low as minus 10 during the night.

    All tickets purchased for this match will be valid for the re-arranged fixture.
