We’ve managed to eek out one final fixture in this heavily truncated gameweek as Manchester City play host to Everton. Carlos Tevez has withdrawn his transfer request, could my prophecy of Friday morning ring true? Chance would be a fine thing.

City then, unsurprisingly, recall their captain and Aleksander Kolarov to the line-up follow suspension (and a hefty portion of drama), while James Milner replaces Nigel De Jong who himself is suspended. David Moyes meanwhile makes two changes as Leon Osman returns from injury to deputise for Stephen Pienaar who picked up a niggle in the week, while also giving another face a chance to shine up front with Victor Anichebe forcing Saha, Yakubu and Beckford to the bench after weeks of paltry returns.     14k at the moment. 4 points from tonight. Will go down yes? 20kish ? Hopefully I can stay inside the top 20k, that'll do me for the GW. Through to the next round of the cup with ease, his only player was Robinson 🙂 17 points for the week. Could've been worse.

    The combination of Toure getting sent off, Jagielka scoring an own goal, and Cahill getting 13 sees me crashing out of the cup to a shocking team who picked Carew as captain, and losing a H2H to a team with 3 bloody players available! All because auto-Cahill gets double points for them and I get auto-Tevez.

    Earlier it looked like I was easily sailing through in both!

    This thing with blackpool and all these possible DGWs is getting a bit out of hand.
    after whats happened this week, it won't really make much of a difference if most teams have DGWs because you can't bring in players as differentials.

    looks like a gameweek of 30 for me mainly down to cahill performance tonight,into the top 3000 overall, p.jones out for the season, any ideas on who 2 replace him with? dont really want to spend any more than 5 million on a replacement.

    Thanks Kolo. Luckily elmander is a little bit more expensive. Should I chase points and get Baines for Kolo as he is considered a must have or shall I go with Kolarov?

    Can someone just explain the form emergency captain rule for me please?

    I thought it was total points from the previous 5 gameweeks, not including the current one. But looking at who my captain has gone to this doesn't seem to be the case.
