We’ve managed to eek out one final fixture in this heavily truncated gameweek as Manchester City play host to Everton. Carlos Tevez has withdrawn his transfer request, could my prophecy of Friday morning ring true? Chance would be a fine thing.

City then, unsurprisingly, recall their captain and Aleksander Kolarov to the line-up follow suspension (and a hefty portion of drama), while James Milner replaces Nigel De Jong who himself is suspended. David Moyes meanwhile makes two changes as Leon Osman returns from injury to deputise for Stephen Pienaar who picked up a niggle in the week, while also giving another face a chance to shine up front with Victor Anichebe forcing Saha, Yakubu and Beckford to the bench after weeks of paltry returns. Teams in full are..

City XI: Hart; Zabaleta, Toure, Kompany, Kolarov; Milner, Toure Yaya, Barry; Silva, Tevez, Balotelli.

Everton XI: Howard; Neville, Jagielka, Distin, Baines; Coleman, Rodwell, Fellaini, Osman, Cahill; Anichebe.

      Agree, people forget that 2 seasons ago if you captained the wrong person it was tough luck. You should have 2 stabs at it, (C) and (VC) and that's it, in a snow week everyone is going to be unlucky anyway

          they don't that's my point, unless they have an order of merit list, it just takes the fluke out of it, you have to plan for it. But I would be all in favour of picking two and if they don't play tough.

    Out in first round again this year, I had 6 players, he had 2, he had Cahill, nuff said.

        Dunn I am happy to leave until he gets a penalty or something, Elmander has West Brom at home and then gone.

        I think Piq has to go, but for who? Dunn to Lampard is interesting move Dunc, cheers, never been a Lampard fan, but it was the end of me last season

    Choosing Cahill over Arteta 4 weeks ago is my best move this season. A bit lucky with Cahill captain tonight, but im chuffed.

      No he didn't. He captained Rooney. As Rooney didn't play the computer went searching on value. A choice between Samba and Hart as his only two players this week puts the armband on Hart.

    I had Cahill on the bench and he is now on and has been captained. Surely it should have been bardsley (whom I played) would have been fairer to my rivals. I hate giving them reason to complain. I would prefer to beat them fair and square.
