We’ve managed to eek out one final fixture in this heavily truncated gameweek as Manchester City play host to Everton. Carlos Tevez has withdrawn his transfer request, could my prophecy of Friday morning ring true? Chance would be a fine thing.

City then, unsurprisingly, recall their captain and Aleksander Kolarov to the line-up follow suspension (and a hefty portion of drama), while James Milner replaces Nigel De Jong who himself is suspended. David Moyes meanwhile makes two changes as Leon Osman returns from injury to deputise for Stephen Pienaar who picked up a niggle in the week, while also giving another face a chance to shine up front with Victor Anichebe forcing Saha, Yakubu and Beckford to the bench after weeks of paltry returns.     Not sure why I captained Balotelli 2 weeks in a row, after last weekend's fail! My opposition has Tevez cap since he is the only player active on his roster.
