We’ve managed to eek out one final fixture in this heavily truncated gameweek as Manchester City play host to Everton. Carlos Tevez has withdrawn his transfer request, could my prophecy of Friday morning ring true? Chance would be a fine thing.

City then, unsurprisingly, recall their captain and Aleksander Kolarov to the line-up follow suspension (and a hefty portion of drama), while James Milner replaces Nigel De Jong who himself is suspended. David Moyes meanwhile makes two changes as Leon Osman returns from injury to deputise for Stephen Pienaar who picked up a niggle in the week, while also giving another face a chance to shine up front with Victor Anichebe forcing Saha, Yakubu and Beckford to the bench after weeks of paltry returns. Teams in full are..

City XI: Hart; Zabaleta, Toure, Kompany, Kolarov; Milner, Toure Yaya, Barry; Silva, Tevez, Balotelli.

Everton XI: Howard; Neville, Jagielka, Distin, Baines; Coleman, Rodwell, Fellaini, Osman, Cahill; Anichebe.

    Managed 20 points tonight thanks to Tim Cahill, which is fantasic because I beat my rival by 10 points. I have Kolo Toure and now he's going to be banned, but I have 2x transfers and i'm thinking Toure > Kolarov?

    Everyone still happy with Kolarov? I thought he was quite wasteful tonight generally, although a bit unlucky not to get an assist or goal. Surely he has to get attacking points soon (as well as CS)? For 5.6, excellent value I feel.

    I was kinda neutral about Man City as a team before tonight but now I hate them more than I hate ManU I hate Tevez more than I hate Rooney and I hate Mancini more than I hate that lovely guy Ferguson oh and as far as Everton go I fecking really hate them, from that lucky australian Cahill to ....Oh feck it; it is christmas and its only a game silent night holy night all is calm all is bright.... 😉

      Kolo Toure red card cost me the cup or the snow cost me the cup or a 4 point hit cost me the cup but all in all it was a very unlucky week so if the gods of fantasy football are watching I need a lot of lucky gameweeks to make up for this to be fair.

    i scored 4 from just 1 player 🙁 I got ko'd in cup 🙁 dropped 80k spots from 190 - 260k 🙁 lost the lead in a big prize mini league - a 47 point diffeence my 4 to his 51 🙁

    been snowed in since friday & not left the house 🙁
    Had 2 kids parties cancelled on Sunday - facilities closed due to snow 🙁
    I not played football for 5 weeks 🙁

      I would consider Carson, Foley or Simpson out for next GW.
      (Although I think Simpson is worth his money long-term.)

        Yeah VDV is on my radar for sure, just might wait another week or so coz Malouda has decent fixtures after this week.. I think Elmo is too shaky to have in my team right now, I'll be getting Bardsley in for SUN cover I think, but not this week as they have United away.. Thinking of Elmo to R Ferdinand.. He's cheaper than Vidic and a nailed on starter also. I think Toure will stay for now
