We’ve managed to eek out one final fixture in this heavily truncated gameweek as Manchester City play host to Everton. Carlos Tevez has withdrawn his transfer request, could my prophecy of Friday morning ring true? Chance would be a fine thing.

City then, unsurprisingly, recall their captain and Aleksander Kolarov to the line-up follow suspension (and a hefty portion of drama), while James Milner replaces Nigel De Jong who himself is suspended. David Moyes meanwhile makes two changes as Leon Osman returns from injury to deputise for Stephen Pienaar who picked up a niggle in the week, while also giving another face a chance to shine up front with Victor Anichebe forcing Saha, Yakubu and Beckford to the bench after weeks of paltry returns. Teams in full are..

City XI: Hart; Zabaleta, Toure, Kompany, Kolarov; Milner, Toure Yaya, Barry; Silva, Tevez, Balotelli.
Everton XI: Howard; Neville, Jagielka, Distin, Baines; Coleman, Rodwell, Fellaini, Osman, Cahill; Anichebe.

Ive just heard the core adn had to go online to check my mate wasnt taking the piss.
I dont normally get that wound up or whatever on here...but if some spawny gobshi**s overtake me because their capt AND vice capt didnt play and so they get whoever the hell they had playing as their capt...while I get Tevez because I waited till 11 on Sat and PICKED HIM...then that, ladies and gents is BALLLLS plain and simple. Why not just let everyone pick their captains after the games...that will ensure people dont get bored....ie can be lazy and benefit!

I'm just happy Coleman played so I got my big 2-1-0 out there in full force.

Watching the game, I'm sorely tempted to bring in Baines for either Konchesky or Cashley. With Arteta coming back, I know Baines's spot kick duties will go down, still worth bringing in?
