    I am just so annoyed by my captain choice - it could have won me mega points and the next round in the fantasy cup. I had VDV all week until about 11:20 on Sat and then went for the captains poll, Nani. Ended up with Nasri and 4 points as opposed to VDV and 32. Bah, humbug ðŸ™

    Right my team for tomorrow at the moment:
    Fabianski
    Salgado, Konchesky, Kolorov
    VDV, Nani, Yaya, Fabregas
    Carroll, Tevez, Rooney
    Sub 1: Bardsley
    Sub 2: Barton
    Sub 3: Foley

    I hear Fabregas is banned so I would lose him and Bardsley would come in.

    Gameweek 9, Ten/Eleven gameweeks ago, that was the last time my captain (Nani 10x2) got me more than 5(x2) points. Had Nani this week of course, with Tevez in my side, but unlike others, mine fell to Drogba :@

    My rival meanwhile has had 32 point hauls from Tevez twice in the last 5 gwks both on EMERGENCY captain.

    I hate this game

    Anyone had a thought about post WC keeper combos?

    The best rotation I can see is Foster / Friedel - but unless Villa can start keeping some cleanies (not totally impossible) I wouldn't consider it. Foster / Gordon rotate very well up until GW35. Any thoughts?

      I'm keeping Robinson/Foster. I dont know how the combo works out, but both are good keepers and should get save points in respective matches.

      You clearly do no know football then. Alex Song was head and shoulders man of the match, he won every battle in midfield, bossed Lampard and Essien and scored the crucial first goal, he was more than worthy of the 3bps

    Bent (Home To Blackpool)
    Tevez (Home To Aston Villa who seem very shaky at the back)

    my team with 1 free transfer and 0.5 in the bank:

    hart (al-habsi)
    vidic baines kolorov konchesky samba
    nani nasri bale (1.ethers, 3.diame)
    drogba carroll (2.elmander)

    thinking of doing samba > foley(for funds) and bale > VDV(C), then i would put foley on the bench and start ethers.

    do you think that i have ordered my subs right and that i am making the right transfers?

    Evening All.

    It's a usual "I'm not that good so can someone see if I'm making sense here" post. Grateful for any comments.

    Team should be linked, but, am thinking of two transfers tonight:

    Elmander > Torres (because the 'pool have some awesome fixtures, and at home where Torres does well. Bolton have awful fixtures.)

    I then have to get rid of a midfielder, and it has to be Cahill as he's off. Money dictates I have 5.5 left to spend, and I've chose Yaya Toure as he too has decent(ish) fixtures.

    Mental or Reasonable?

      yes reasonable, but you will then have 3 city players.
      Maybe consider someone like Cleverley or Barton?
      Torres is obviously a good option for the next 2 weeks.

        I will. True. But they are in a bit of form and it's not as though they're a mid- or bottom-team side.

        But I know what you mean. Maybe I will ditch Yaya after the Wolves game at home. Cleverley is a good shout.

        And I'm looking further than 2 weeks for Torres (if he holds up) as he has the double gameweek not too far away...
