It’s breathless stuff this Christmas fixture list. The games keep coming thick and fast and it’s getting difficult to clear the head of the all the variables and avoid making a Fantasy faux pas or two.

Rest and rotation are the big concern now, plus of course those little knocks and niggles that go unreported until the teamsheets arrive. A strong bench comes in handy and some last minute advice on how to juggle resources never goes amiss. We’ve opened our Matchday Surgery chatroom so you can soak some up in real-time prior to that 11.30 deadline.

phew, I took the captaincy off Tevez and put it on VDV about 15minutes before the deadline because a random person on this site reminded me that Tevez struggles at HOME.

    This is where there is the piss take that really irks me.
    
    I captain Rooney last gameweek where many captain Nani. He isn't in the squad so people get either VDV or Tevez as captain for free.
