Fulham have this afternoon confirmed the loan signing of Chelsea’s 19-year old French forward Gael Kakuta on a season long loan.

Kakuta has made 5 appearances for Chelsea this season, amassing just 123 minutes of pitch time. His opportunities will surely be more frequent at Craven Cottage however, as Mark Hughes desperately searches for attacking options and goals with Bobby Zamora sidelined, to ease the pressure on converted midfielder Clint Dempsey.

At first glance the move seems of little interest to Fantasy Managers, until you consider that Kakuta, a left-winger or striker, is available in the Fantasy Premier League game as a midfielder and is priced at 5.4.

It remains to be seen if Kakuta can offer any potential as an “out of position” prospect. We first have to be sure that he can hold down regular starts in Fulham’s lineup and then also consider his likely impact given that Fulham have possibly the most difficult run-in of any Premier League club.

We also have to assess the effect of his arrival on Fulham’s existing squad members. You would presume that Damien Duff would immediately come under threat, but much depends on how Hughes looks to utilise Kakuta’s talents. He will be one to simmer under the Watchlist for the time being while we look on from afar.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Five to play tonight, 3 defenders though and my main rival has Torres (c) so I guess I had better hope for a bore draw, or 2-0 Fulham with a Dempsey brace.

I can't think of anything worse in fantasy terms than watching a game hoping the away team doesn't concede.

Apart from of course watching your captain do bugger all. I did get quite excited a number of times in last night's game when Nani (c) was through on goal, only to realise it was Hernandez 🙁

Watching the Blackpool vs MU game yesterday I noticed the full section of empty tangerine seats at midfield that were empty. What was up with that?

All those Blackpool corporate VIPS were too busy quaffing champagne in the lounge rather than watch the game. Or they just had plenty of spare seats to segregate the fans because not that many people were going.

I have to join in with the love for Gold Bars. They are far and away the best biscuit bar and are better than most chocolate bars.

And whats even better is i have a friend who has just started with United Biscuits and gets me packs of Gold bars for free. I dont think i have ever felt more complete.

My WC attempt as it stands:

    Gordon, Begovic,
    Rafael, Djourou, Bosingwa, Bardsley, Dawson
Fabregas, Nani, Van der Vaart, Adam, Barton
    Tevez, Berbatov, Van Persie

    …leaving 1.1m in the bank.

    Questions:
    1. Do I dare spend so little on goalkeepers? Should I go with Foster and one of Gordon/Begovic?
    2. Would any of these defenders be better than my current ones?: Coleman, Huth, Clark, Kelly, Hangeland

I just heard of the greasemonkey script that adds more stuff to the FPL and I ran the Captain's % on your team.

You've got 124 out of a possible 299 extra points from your Captains so far. 41.4% Only once more than 50% in the last 6 GWs.

I do think that is a bit ott.

But the point isn't really exactly what he said - it's the attitude. Women as objects, it is a bit dinosaur.

Agreed, how could Andy Gray possibly think of Charlotte Jackson as a sex object?

I know, I know, I just hate the fact that Andy Gray got sacked and Keys didn't - Keys' behaviour in the latest video is much worse than Gray's.

Oh right, yeah he will probably go though right?

And yeah i don't want to come across like a complete square, i personally don't really care. Much worse thigns happen between friends.

Got no problem with the guys doing that - but when they're the public face of a massive company i think the company HAS to take action.

I work for a local council and i know i'd get in all kinds of shit if someone complained on any grounds of discrimination. I do also think that high profile companies should be doing what they can to push that kind of attitude out.

Keys has got to go now - the way he refers to Redknapp's ex as 'it' just sounded venomous and hateful towards women, unlike Gray who might be sexist but is not actually a misogynist.

He developed a complicated robotic device to farm gold in World of Warcraft, and he simply turned it over to the FPL page at the start of the season to try registering 30 times every second.

Because it started early in the morning, he actually ended up with over 4000 teams before he switched it off.

shall i just think "f*ck it" and swap Rooney for Berbatov for the next game or stick with Rooney, im scared to swap them cos i can see Rooney getting massive points as soon as I do. I was loyal to Rooney earlier in the season as well and wasted my captain choice on him a fair few times.
