Six more Premier League matches, six more opportunities to add to our Gameweek totals – sadly, after last night’s heavyweight bouts, the Fantasy talent on show looks somewhat limited.

Carlos Tevez will carry the hopes of some as City take on Birmingham at St Andrews, Dutch maestro Rafael Van der Vaart will do his bit for Spurs at Blackburn. Elsewhere, the ever-popular wantaway Charlie Adam will be spraying passes around and over the accommodating West Ham defence and Clint Dempsey will be shooting on sight with Newcastle dropping by the Cottage.
Aside from that, we will all be hoping to find clean sheets. There might just be more chance of finding Germaine Greer on Andy Gray’s Facebook friend list.

Follow the fortunes of all these players and Johan Elmander’s latest attempt at prising the wheel clamp from his bandwagon, in tonight’s Dugout Discussion chatroom. The doors are open. Granville’s doing the teas.

            Villa, Forlan, Suarez and Muller were the only strikers to really make a major impact. Suarez was phenomenal, as were the other 3.

    I am having difficulties with choosing which transfers to make. I am going to make none for gameweek 26 meaning that I have 2 free for gw27…
    This is my current team:

    Well a pretty tight scrappy sort of game. Newcastle really missed Carroll, particularly from the numerous corners and set pieces. We looked pretty toothless going forward, although Ranger worked hard and forced a good save from Schwartzer.
    Our attack was not helped by Ameobi going off so early with a fractured cheekbone, he'll be out for 6-7 weeks. It could mean reverting to 4-5-1 with Nolan behind Best (good news for Nolan owners) but more likely I think it will remain 4-4-2 with Ranger getting a go.
    Fulham were pretty good, Dempsey, Murphy and Duff all impressed and should have a shout for BP's. Kakuta looked very good when he came on too. For Newcastle Steve Harper was probably our best player, Jose Enrique was good again, and Williamson will want to forget tonight - he was rubbish.

      Nolan looked like a passenger imo, strolled thru the game. Not really a fan of Guttieriez, but he has a go. I'll say Duff 3, Murphy 2, Demps 1.

        Nolan always does that though. Wouldn't expect anything different.
        I would say Murphy 3, Dempsey 2, Duff 1
        Duff didn't do too much apart from miss a sitter and score, not sure with these tricky baps though.
