There may only be one Premier League fixture tonight but it’s one of huge significance, both for our Fantasy Football fortunes and on the destination of the Premier League title. Manchester United are the visitors, and Chelsea are the hosts.

With Chelsea fifteen points adrift and having a turbulent season, it’s United who are looking to edge closer to that 19th Premier League trophy. More importantly of course, it’s United who are featuring in their second game of the gameweek, meaning most of us are loaded up with their players.

Chelsea XI: Cech, Ivanovic, David Luiz, Terry, Cole, Essien, Lampard, Ramires, Anelka, Torres, Malouda

Man United XI: Van der Sar, O’Shea, Smalling, Vidic, Evra, Fletcher, Carrick, Scholes, Nani, Hernandez, Rooney

Sir Alex has named his first unchanged team since May 2008 (thanks Shreevesy), meaning Dimitar Berbatov is once again left in favour of Mexican sensation Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez.

As for the Champions, and they also leave a big name striker on the bench in Didier Drogba, with Carlo Ancelotti clearly hoping Fernando Torres’ supposed hoodoo over Nemanja Vidic surfaces tonight.

    Do you think you are addicted to Fantasy Football because of this site? Last season was my first year playing FPL and i came on here to look at the scout picks, and read a few posts occasionally. I certainly didn't think about FF everyday! As soon as i signed up to this website at the start of this season, im hooked!

    What is everyones problem with Auto subs.
    I Pick my starting lineup with players that are playing but don't have a problem with auto subs.
    The clue is in the name AUTOsubs.
    It's part of the game so live with it...

            Good point. I they they have a better chance of winning the league than the Champions League, but they can't really focus more on the Sunderland match as that would send the wrong signals.

              I still think that Arsenal haven't got anywhere near enough mental stength to go the distance Garg. I believe they will slip up badly at some stage or another, possibly after gaining a lead in the league. As soon as they start to truly realise they might actually win the league, they will lose it.

                I always think that if you're in the title race with 10 rounds left you can influence it to a higher degree than a knockout tournament. I'm not saying Arsenal are the favourites to win it at this moment or anything, that's still Manchester United.

    I'm feeling like a proper tit now - I don't remember there being a history of autosubs not happening in FPL, as someone said earlier, with no arsenel/birmingham fixture there wasnt really any point in ensuring we had a starting eleven out when you know youve got four players who won't play.

    I wish Roberto Mancini contributed to this site, could've done with a heads up about Silva.

    Peoples thoughts on a striker to double up on for the next GW?
    Zigic, good form, guaranteed starter
    Saha, two winnable games and a good run of fixtures - doesn't often play 90 mins because he's old and injury-prone (but he's an ex-Newcastle player so will probably score against us)
    Beckford, good form, will start if fit

      3 seasons ive played and i never remember it not happening.
      not sure you can ever say zigic is in form. he does f*** all for 89 mins then may pop up with a header.
      the doubt with saha is a game in 4 days time, then another 4 days after.
      i wouldn't necessarily say beckford is assured a start, even if cahill is out. (swear people said he got injured this evening?)

              It was a good game yeah, i actually really enjoyed it. Draw was a fair result though imo, the pen and sending off were very 'soft'.

                Draw was definitely a fair result. It was a sending off though, Luiz should have been off aswell. Ref didn't have much choice with the pen but yes, it was soft, nut then so was the freekick given against Chelsea early on when Torres volleyed in.

        It just irritates me that several people on here were clearly preparing before the game even started to complain at the hostility during the game. I, along with jamsiep, actually think it was generally not that bad, with a few exceptions.

          I know what you're saying and I agree with you in one way. It was not worse than it usually is when the top teams play eachother.

          Compare this site now with this site 18 months ago and there is a difference in the tone of the arguments though, that is a fact.

            I completely agree, but I think that's more a result of the constant bickering between a few unnamed individuals on here who seem to have instigated some sort of internet blood feud. Most of the banter betweem jamsiep, jamsiep jnr, granville and me tonight was fairly harmless.......
