There may only be one Premier League fixture tonight but it’s one of huge significance, both for our Fantasy Football fortunes and on the destination of the Premier League title. Manchester United are the visitors, and Chelsea are the hosts.

With Chelsea fifteen points adrift and having a turbulent season, it’s United who are looking to edge closer to that 19th Premier League trophy. More importantly of course, it’s United who are featuring in their second game of the gameweek, meaning most of us are loaded up with their players.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom is open for business, and the team sheets are in…

Chelsea XI: Cech, Ivanovic, David Luiz, Terry, Cole, Essien, Lampard, Ramires, Anelka, Torres, Malouda

Man United XI: Van der Sar, O’Shea, Smalling, Vidic, Evra, Fletcher, Carrick, Scholes, Nani, Hernandez, Rooney

Sir Alex has named his first unchanged team since May 2008 (thanks Shreevesy), meaning Dimitar Berbatov is once again left in favour of Mexican sensation Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez.

As for the Champions, and they also leave a big name striker on the bench in Didier Drogba, with Carlo Ancelotti clearly hoping Fernando Torres’ supposed hoodoo over Nemanja Vidic surfaces tonight.

Akers Richard or Akers, as he is known, has been regularly haunting this site since July 2008. He is young and foolish, take what he says with a pinch of salt. Follow them on Twitter

Had to re-do this, awaiting moderation, because I neglected to sneak by the moderators by ommitting a letter from a naughty word. This is moderated whilst Tweedle Dumb and Tweedle even Fecking dumber carry on regardless. ----

    ---

I’m sure you lot already did this to death, but not had chance to read through back pages yet, will get to it at lunchtime, and I need to get it off my chest.

Firstly. Well played Chelsea, good committed performance, despite my concerns over the refereeing, I reckon you were just about worthy of the victory. And, despite my feelings that Sideshow Bob should so obviously have been sent off, he does look to be halfway competent doesn’t he.

I know many claim that United get preferential treatment form referees, and many times I agree with them and am embarrassed by it. I am sure also that many will be playing the Karma card after Rooneys antics on Saturday, again I have some sympathy for that viewpoint, but none of this disguises the fact that Atkinson’s performance was nothing short of disgraceful (not for the first time in this particular fixture). Come the end of the season (whoever wins the title) I will be more philosophical about the swings and roundabouts nature of such things, but right now it is hard to take that this idiot has had such influence over the game again. RBJ’s Fukwitometer must have been working overtime.

Once again well played Chelsea, no sour grapes here, and well played Carlo Ancelloti for the refreshing nature of his comments re the non-sending off.

    Sorry for the rant

Looks STRONG.... and you don't have to worry about VDV, RVP or any other initials only players for a few weeks.

I just amazed myself to find GW 31 is 2 April- so let the big guys heal and come on a month later after CL and so on for A-Y-or D.

I think Young will rise in price a tenth or two, and if you trade out Rooney who is rising in value as well, for RVP, you should be fine to get VDV. I do think these two have magic when on form.

Probably almost like what everyone said Lamps, Fab, and Rooney had last year. I am not including Torres, because it just starts a fight.(lol) I know he was amazing once.

So this is my wildcard team:
    Foster Begovic
    Coleman Djourou Luiz Kolarov Walker
    VDV Arteta A.Young Nani Nasri
    Sturridge Zigic RVP

I realise VDV and RVP are injured but I wanna see whether VDV will make the Wolves game and RVP well, I'm unsure on a replacement. I have 6.3 in the bank so I can pretty much afford anyone.

    What do you guys think?

Just not sure about RVP- I would plan on 5-6 weeks out- his coach said minimum three. His injury looked like a hyperextension- which he essentially got by scoring through a cement post (the defensive back)--his knee stopped abruptly by the post, as his instep rammed the ball goalwards. Very brave, successful, but ....

As to your team-- Sturridge will add excitement for you, but I would buddy him with TEVEZ or Rooney (or whoever you think is in form) and drop RVP until the DGW 33. Team looks good and you can get to 10 DGW players if you want by DGW 33.

Also, do your best NOT to make a trade in first week after WC use. As you know you get great flexibility from that "denial period" with 2 free's. Another reason to cut RVP loose, he's taking up a valuable bench spot right next to VDV.

Good luck, you want my team, because it's all downhill from where I have luckily found myself. Feel like Colin Firth, who thought he had peaked last Sunday night.

Ouch, well I guess you have to get risky- pick the two best DGWers and pray and take a hit on the best Mid/FWD-

You have to have a front six and hope Rafael plays to make four more.
So Beckford, Saha, or Zigic. I like Zigic because he plays another two in DGW33.
Then maybe Arteta and pray alot.
Walcott to Young is good. This is worth the hit IMO.
I am a first year player.

Condolences to all your countrymen and women in NZ. I followed the quake from the States about 8 hours a day over the first five days in the Herald and Press and on News 24 out of Australia, until they shut it down.

Your Rugby Captain Richie McCaw made a great statement when he said you'd rebuild stronger and better, and gave his heart to those who lost their lives or were injured.

Good luck, my friend, puts fantasy in perspective.

This seems a perfect week to take hits because of the double but if you have prepared well with Birmingham and Everton players then you don't need to but have the luxury of doing it knowing you will make it back, Cahill getting injured has been bad though.

Looked around my league, a lot have 9 players available with no doubles, I have 8 available but with 5 doubles, do I take a 12 point hit and really attack the week or hold my nerve and let those take hits around me and close the gap that way????

    Dilemma time.

I'm heavily committed to DGWers, wouldn't do it again as Cahill now not playing.I think I'll just stick to top players even if just one game. I keep getting players who last about four point six nano seconds before tripping over a matchstick whilst visiting some parallel universe(cos their girlfriend says the shops are SOOOO much better there) and missing the next five games.

Well, I am miffed about not having Rooney, but quite a blatant elbow...I just don't understand how he wasn't sent off. And Suarez was a punt- I need to make up ground and everyone was captaining Nani. Suarez has looked lively, has a great scoring record (not in the prem yet of course) and should've scored to be fair. He's a solid player, was hoping this would be his breakout week.
