For those without Wayne Rooney owners, Saturday was a painful day (I bet you did better than me though). Hopefully there’s something on offer this Mothering Sunday, with two Premier League fixtures to close the gameweek out (good riddance).

The Dugout Discussion chatroom is open in time for Blackpool’s trip to Craven Cottage. The team sheets have been handed in and read like this…

Fulham XI: Schwarzer, Baird, Hughes, Hangeland, Salcido, Duff, Etuhu, Murphy, Dempsey, Zamora, Dembele

Blackpool XI: Kingson, Baptiste, Cathcart, Evatt, Crainey, Grandin, Adam, Vaughan, Ormerod, Beattie, Taylor-Fletcher

Fantasy favourites Charlie Adam and Clint Dempsey both feature as does Fulham striker Bobby Zamora. That’s his first league start since his injury back in gameweek three, and his presence relegates Andy Johnson to the bench. Other than that, Fulham line-up as expected.

As for the visitor’s, DJ Campbell competes his three-match suspension today, which allows Brett Ormerod to play alongside Gary Taylor-Fletcher and James Beattie up front.

On a more comical note, Fulham chairman Mohamed Al Fayed has erected a statue of Michael Jackson outside Craven Cottage. No, really.

That monstrosity aside, and it’s perhaps the final game of the day at Eastlands that has our interest, as Man City play hosts to Sunderland. Will Carlos Tevez’s owners be rewarded for holding on? I hope so.

You know what sucks, I planned all week to not make a trade, and then friday I convinced myself suarez could outscore rooney in those fixtures you mentioned. And it was working towards my lamps plan. But pigman goes and gets his best score of the season and suarez does sweet fa.
Tbh I know it was stupid, last couple months I've been getting silly with my decisions hoping for some breakthrough differential or something, frustrations affecting my decisions. No more MAD, you're my witness. I'm on whacky decision rehab 😀

Why go near a Chelsea striker? Torres,Anelka, Kalou,Drogs...all will be chopped and changed, especially now that CL is back. Only reliably attacking source from Chelsea is Lampard imo.

Because he's 10 points down and needs a big differential with good fixtures and the potential to score massive.

Anyone see the Napoli-Lazio game?? Epic match with the winner coming from the best striker around at the moment...Edinson Cavani

Nice one I'm glad someone else watched it. What a game 🙂 Was there some dude still playing at the end with 2 yellows. Lazio should have been given that goal that cracked the bar as well. Definitely over the line.

Sure theres always gonna be a bit of corruption in the Italian game 🙂 But yeah, twas a really good end to end game of football. Lazio should have had a man sent off for the pen too... keep an eye on the Chievo-Samp match coming up 😉 Betting suspended on the draw at summit like 1/2 odds!!

Only watched parts of it and the goals. Excellent excellent player, showed at the World Cup that he offered much even in the shadow of Forlan and Suarez. He'll be snapped up by a big team sooner or later.

Sanchez will obviously be picked up too but I'm less sure on him. He's perhaps the best YouTube player around but I think Cavani has more of what it takes to succeed in a great team in a great league.
