With the Gameweek 32 deadline just 24-hours away, there’s one more thing to consider (for 128 Fantasy Managers) when it comes making those agonising transfer decisions. The draw for the third round of the Fantasy Football Scout Cup IV has been made and can be viewed right here.

After his shock Quarter-Final exit in the Members’ edition, Gooner dave will be desperately looking put that behind him with a win against i campioni due. There’s almost 10,000 places between them in the overall standings, which should fill our reigning champ with confidence (not that he needs it).

We know there’ll be no cup double to end the season for Gooner dave, but nor will there be for anyone else – none of our Members’ Paddy Power Cup Semi-Finalists have progressed as far as the third round of the FFS Cup IV. Another Quarter-Finalist that made it however was ryangal1982, who will be expecting to be one step closer to repeating that feat as he squares up against the lowest-scoring winner from round two, Afc Chamelon.

The other former tournament winner still in the mix, Jonty, bizarrely faces an opponent on the exact same points as Gooner dave’s foe. Again there’s a 10,000 place gulf in this match-up, but unfortunately for Jonty, it’s bantamstu with that advantage.

Last week’s top-scorer, cm1mds, won’t feel he has to replicate his round two standard as (his opponent) yarkiebrown‘s six-figure ranking isn’t to be feared.

Having already “won” the title of “Last Scout Contributor Standing”, da Beeeez will be setting his sights a little further when he challenges milanista for a place in the last 64.

On the back of beating Breakballartist in the previous round, Locarno has been rewarded with a tie against the third-highest ranked manager in the competition and 90th in the world, Up_Top. It’s a New Zealand Vs. Australia showdown, with the Aussie going in as a huge favourite.

The second-highest of our three top 100 Fantasy Managers is 81st in the world Morts Macaroons. The recipient of this horror opponent is Tinkered To Death who, sitting just inside the top 100,000, can can consider himself mightily unlucky with his draw.

Finally, our numero uno in round three is maximo78. You’ll find him on page one of the Fantasy Premier League leader-board in 42nd place. Rotten luck for Ninja_Fit_Saints.

Other notable fixtures includes Soop against Antifreeze, dribbler versus Real Ale Madrid and daniel.mf taking on mregan84 to name just three.

All the best to the 128 going at it this weekend and, as always, I’ll bring you news of the results next week.

Doubt he'll be rested despite a poor game last week. The onus will be on us to attack, and the Walker / Downing link up has been one of the few positives this season. Guessing the defence will stay the same... Walker, Collins, Dunne, Luke Young with Clark and Cuellar on the bench.

VDS - Evra - Vidic probably the only sure starters.

That was my thoughts, although the Chelsea double is tempting me a little.

Lets hope can make up for last weeks (c)

Why isn't Andy Carroll up for Young Player of the Year?

I don't particularly rate him too highly but he has done more this season than Coleman and maybe Joe Hart this season imo, seeing as it his first in the league too.

I got a some kind of BBQ burger there the other day and I was reminded of how much more generous a burger it is over McDonalds, it is spilling over with lettuce and tomatoe and sauce, to the point where I think it is overkill and prefer the more streamline, "sat on by the chef" McDonalds kind.

I think it is daft, he still looks way out of sorts in front of goal and despite most folk thinking he was impressive outside of the box on Wednesday night we all know that it's what's inside that counts (how touching), I am steering clear of all Chelsea attackers until we know the outcome of the UCL game on Tuesday night, then it's Drogba that I really want

    Team is:
    Bego/kingson
    RJ, Coleman, Kelly, Walker, Luiz
    Lamps, VDV, nani, Young, Adam
    RVP, Tevez, Zigic

Decided on geting fabregas in this week, but how?
    A) VDV/Young - Fabs
    Tevez - Striker under 7.5
    B) Coleman - P Jones
    Tevez - Bent
Young - Fabs (4 point extra hit).

Surely not Luiz? It makes sense for them to get the clean sheet and then give Terry a rest? I brought Luiz in for a hit this week so I hope it's not him, having not played since the last GW it doesn't really make sense to rest Luiz, but you know better.

Any chance that Luiz will be dropped so Ancelotti can use the back four that is gonna play at Old Trafford on tuesday?

I think he would be daft to buy a player not eligible for CL and then not play him.

Wouldn't normally ask, but this one I could do with some opinions on:

Really want Lampard in. Team can be seen through link. So 1 of 2(ish) options really (bother require a 4 point hit due to funding issues):

Silva > Lampard and Tevez to Bent(or another striker...already have A Young but would change him for Adam next week)
    or
A Young > Lampard and Tevez to Bent (then Silva for Adam next week)

All comes down to if there's more points in Villas game than Man City's. 3 villa players (I have Walker), although for only 1 week, seems a bit excessive!?

No idea. The only thing he said is Alex will get 30 odd minutes to see how he is.
