Gameweek 34 kicks-off with a trip to Old Trafford between Premier League leaders Manchester United and Everton. Then we have six 3pm games to pour over, followed by an evening game where West Ham visit the Champions. The Surgery has shut for the week, but the Dugout Discussion chatroom takes it place. So come in, sit down, and enjoy the roller-coaster ride that is Fantasy Football.

The team news from our early game is in and it’s certainly eyebrow-raising stuff…

Man United XI: Van Der Saar, O’Shea, Ferdinand, Evans, Fabio, Valencia, Gibson, Anderson, Nani, Rooney, Hernandez

Everton XI: Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Coleman, Neville, Rodwell, Bilyaletdinov, Osman, Beckford

Sir Alex pulls out another totally unpredictable line-up, which sees rests handed to key defenders Patrice Evra and club captain Nemanja Vidic. Dimitar Berbatov again fails to even make the substitutes bench, with a groin injury the reason.

The visitors line-up is much more like what we all expected, with Jermain Beckford up top on his own in front of a midfield five. That midfield five does not include either Tim Cahill or Mikel Arteta, with the latter not fit enough to make the bench.

Akers Richard or Akers, as he is known, has been regularly haunting this site since July 2008. He is young and foolish, take what he says with a pinch of salt. Follow them on Twitter

The best thing is he'll probably be in the baps now, after playing like absolute wank for 44 minutes. 😉

The move was pretty good, and the finish was as good as he could have done. So yeah, it was a pretty good goal. It was the only piece of good football we've played all half. The rest was absolutely dire, slow tempo, stupid long shots (Drogba especially) and dodgy defending.

I can see him getting 15 points here just cos of the pen factor.

Well, Jagielka was clearly the best player on the pitch, virtually single-handedly kept us at bay.

However I still think Rooney could be on for 2 or 3 baps.

I find it funny that you think he didn't. Positionally he was just in front of Ferdinand and Evans after Hernandez scored for virtually all the time except when he came forward for one attack.

I can't decide if this is a WUM or if you're genuinely denying what your eyes are telling you.....

Just checked my league leader's team assuming he prophetically captained Lampard, only to see he went VDV. Relieved!

Did anyone actually see AJ's goal? Reading reports now that Zamora didn't get a touch, it was Berra who headed it clean out under pressure from Zamora.

What happens to FPL if the game is abandoned? Are all the points scrubbed and players auto subbed? 😕

It won't be abandoned now, Man City vs Burnely last season was much worse.
