From the outset, this was always looking like a tricky double gameweek for the four teams involved and today’s results only offered confirmation. While Bolton still have their two games to go (ARS & ful), owners of Wolves players will be cursing their luck as the likes of Jamie O’Hara and Matthew Jarvis drew blanks this afternoon, allowing the unlikely duo of Karl Henry and Steven Fletcher to pick up the points, with an assist and a goal respectively in the 1-1 draw with Fulham at Molineux. Wolves next game, a trip to the Britannia to face a Stoke side in their first home game since grabbing a place in the FA Cup Final, looks a difficult fixture that hardly inspires hope.

Fantasy Owners of both Stoke and Fulham players, on the other hand, should still approach the midweek games with plenty optimism. Both clubs are facing very winnable home ties and a reminder of their home form should offer some reassurance.

Fulham are unbeaten in their last six games at Craven Cottage, winning five and drawing the other. This run has saw them average two goals a game and chalk up a fantastic five clean sheets. Bolton, their midweek opponents, have lost eight of their last nine away and have never scored more than once in that run.

So if you’re one of the 112,000 that drafted in Clint Dempsey this week, fear not. Pre-Bonus allocation, the American may have returned just two points, but this gameweek is far from finished for Fulham. The same applies to owners of Bobby Zamora, who was drafted by 72,000 managers, only to start the proceedings on the bench. Zamora did grab an assist in his 22 minute second-half cameo and today’s rest may strengthen his chances of a midweek start.

Stoke’s home form? Almost as good. Four wins and two draws in six, with three clean sheets and an average of just over two goals per game should brighten the evening of Fantasy managers frustrated after the 1-1 draw at Villa Park. Midweek opponents Wolves have picked up eight away points all season and Pulis’ side look likely to take advantage.

While Kenwyne Jones has already vindicated his selection in Big Dunc’s Spot the Differential, next Tuesday’s match offers other a second bit at the cherry for the rest of Pulis’ side. In particular, for owners of Robert Huth or Matthew Etherington-subject of 43,000 and 76,000 transfers in respectively- there’s still 90 minutes against Big Mick’s boys to go….

"For Once We Didn't Do It

Sony's Playstation Network, its online service for Playstation 3 and its Playstation Portable consoles, suffered from a major outage today; which is on going as of this writting. According to Son'ys blog, the interruption in service may last into the long weekend - for at least another "full day or two". Sony released a statement through its EU blog, saying that the network outage may be a result of "targeted behaviour by an outside party", brining in the possibility of cyberattacks. Adding to the confusion is the fact that the message has since been removed.

While it could be the case that other Anons have acted by themselves AnonOps wa not related to this incident and takes no responsiblity for it. A more likely explination is that Sony is taking advantage of Anonymous' previous ill-will towards the company to distract users from the fact the outage is accutally an internal problem with the companies servers.

    TL:DR

    Sony is incompetent."

the Anon hackers statement...well at least we know its not a bunch of kids from there incredible spelling....

He seems to be immune to Mancinis rotation policy,he seems to be the player closest to main striker and as SPU says he's highest scoring Citeh player bar Tevez, oh, and only 5.8m.

The Laws of Fantasy Football state that you will miss out on anything in the game that requires luck. Like Lampard's billion points last year, Berbatov's billion point double gameweek this year, and Drogba last week. Also any dodgy assists, like Fabregas' last week. The only way to do well is to try and have so many good players that you can overcome these things. Then cross your fingers and toes 🙂

even if he had the second half of his life he couldn't make up for the first. when essien went off he took one for the team and held deep for the rest of the match. i honestly can't see how they gave him 3bps, even if it was 1-0 it would have been iffy, once malouda got the late goal they had an excuse to not give lamps the 3bps. it's not the worst ever obviously because no one was amazing but it's still one of the cheapest 3bps of the season

it' hard to argue this one now they are 20th (didn't actually know that) but parker has looked heroic many times this season. maybe not player of the year heroic (definitely not in fact) but no way is he deserving of mocking. i don't know how they're down where they are as there players don't see that bad but i honestly can't see the parker bashing.

Nah, I have no issue with Parker himself, not like I do with people like Rooney, Fletcher and Rafael. I'm sure he's a perfectly nice guy.

To an extent, yes. Although Wilshere is on a completely level to Parker - as a player that is.

His inclusion in the PFA Team of the Year was a complete joke, agreed. He seems to have been elevated to world class status on the back of a couple of half-decent games against Barca.

It also doesn't help that he's a horrible little toerag.

I may be misunderstanding the premise of the award, but is it not meant to be given to the best player in the league over the course of the season? If so, then giving it to the guy who captains the team who are 20th is a bit of a joke, and an insult to our intelligence.

to be honest you're right. but he's also no way near as bad as you make out. this award is like lampard's 3bps today, it's a default award only made possible by no one else making themselves the obvious candidate. it's probably the writers trying to say 'look how ballsy we are and look how much deeper we analyse the game not going for the obvious candidates.'

Still, it's a general thing I've noticed happen regularly.

He got very lucky with his captain & only has K.Jones to play. He left Huth on the bench ffs.

I don't think I've seen anyone post a higher score than me this GW.

65 no hits. Gained 30 ish points on all the minileague rivals. Pretty damned pleased with that.

        😆
Feck off! The first was possibly the most disastrous move in wildcard history, the second sort of saved my season. Well it made it a little more respectable anyway.
