  I say rival, he's over 200 points behind, but he's brought in and captained Yaya - he doesn't have VDV.
  
  In a much tighter mini league 2nd and 3rd have captained VDV and both have Defoe and Modric (I have neither). Neither of them have Silva, I do.
  
  Should be an interesting weekend!

    It really doesn't matter what VdV does this GW for those who captained him, since only few people captained someone else (they are the only one who care): if he does zilch, then those few gamblers will be in heaven and make a huge step forward, but most people won't experience any changes in rankings because the number of those who didn't captain VdV is very small.

It was obvious everyone everywhere was captaining VDV. Thats why I dont think captaining him if you are behind is a good idea - you need to hope that he doesnt do too well, and find someone else that does amazing. No point in going out quietly, and thats what captaining VDV is.

  I agree with you completely chillin. However I'm a good 50+ points behind my leader and I took my big gambles in the last two weeks...(c) Zamora 2pts and (c) Balotelli 4pts.
  Big fails saw me drop from 10k to 20k.
  I had to (c) VDV this week to simply not risk more drops in overall ranking. I've given up on my mini league now!

How do you reckon I will do compared to a rival, I have a 47 point lead:

Me: Luiz, Lampard, Kuyt, Adam, Odemwingie
Rival: Baines, Bale, Yaya, Carroll, Rooney

Both have played Foster, Walker, Kolorov, Silva, VdV(c) and RvP.
I benched Carroll, Hughes & Kelly, he benched Nani, Luiz & Djourou.

    Yeah, got a feeling he may cut the lead down for this week given some of the players he has, but hopefully I would be able to make up for that after, having 3 City players and 2 Spurs players could be overkill given there's 2 only weeks left after.

He's a United fan and it definitely shows today as he's benched three Chelsea players, including Lampard, and played two Stoke defenders against Arsenal. He also took a four point hit. Some of his players may do well though. Should I be worried?
