We’re delighted to begin the public testing of the new version of Fantasy Football Scout. From tonight our Members can get exclusive access our Beta Test server where they can use their existing login to view and use a test version of the new site and its features. To be clear, this is not a new Members site (although an upgrade to the Members Area is part of it), this is a whole new Fantasy Football Scout which will soon be made available to all.

Members can click here to login.

Please drop us a line (support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk) if you have issues logging in – we may have some teething problems with this so please bear with us.

The site currently in test is not yet complete but we feel we’re ready to begin getting feedback on the new design and, in particular the new comments system.

The progress to this point is as a result of months of investment and has involved a design development team who have worked tirelessly. I’d like to extend a big thanks to Ed and Sean our programming team and to Will our designer for their efforts and patience over the recent months.

This is just the beginning though – the work and improvements continue. The Beta Test offers the first glimpse of the news site as it comes together. The aim is to collect feedback, react to it as necessary, iron out any wrinkiles and get the new site live before the new season.

There are also bags of new features yet to go in – new injuries and bans systems, new team news layouts and a host of new widgets and features for members to improve their experience.

We’d be very grateful to those members who would take the time to visit the Beta Test site, take a look around and start using the comment system to leave feedback.

A greeting post, offering details of just what’s new is on the homepage waiting.

Want to watch it but keep thinking I should watch the orginal - Danish version - the snob in me says that's got to be better.

I didn't know there was another version, it's got really good reviews, think i'll give it a watch. Im not a massive fan of subtitles so i think i'll stick to the American version!

        It's absolute bollocks.

The first episode is good, the next couple okay then it turns into utter dull and meandering dirge.

must be a cultural thing. i quite enjoyed it. the dialogue is pretty sharp, the characters have some depth.

then again, i absolutely loved twin peaks, so i might be biased. i think the u.s. version certainly nods (sometimes quite overtly) to the old lynch/frost masterpiece. but who wouldn't?

No. You mean that pick of Olsson, the Zonz and Hoilett (looking about 12) in the Venky's kit? Think that was just an advertising shot for their restaurants/interests in India. Why should have a new sponsor announced in the next couple of weeks i think

surely it's got little to work with now without actual football action or just fpl opening to give the ticker and the opta stats life? (i know there's other benefits but personally i'm all about the opta goodness)
one thing i wasn't overly impressed with last year was the 'early bird' offer. it seemed to last until about october so was a bit of a con/clever marketing/innocent lazyness.

I doubt very much that I will ever win any FPL prize - I don't play the FPL to win prizes - I doubt anybody does - I play for the fun of beating friends and to feed my obsession. BTW I'm pretty sure that the guys who directly work on the game (we don't we only supply editorial) all have teams in the game.

Doubt I'll go with RVP. Quite hard fixtures at the start so it seems silly to pay 11.0 for a player who won't be a captaincy choice. Especially when you can only really start with just the two expensive players in your team anyway.

I haven't really studied the fixtures yet, so you might be right. He's in my long term thinking though, depending on fixtures and whatever happens pre season. He still has plenty of time to get injured.

Regarding no RVP cause of the fixtures: @new they will score, LIV - they r nothing special defensively at the moment and there is the Utd game that we will have to swallow, after GW 3 excellent fixtures,

Regarding captaincy he is my prime captain for GW 1 at the moment,.

I mean he scored 106 points last year second to only Dempsey in their midfield. Sure to start as he is their captain isnt he? Plus he is good value for what he offers

Exactly, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if Murphy is same price or even cheaper than Duff. Plus something in my head tells me Duff picks up more injuries - that's instinctive rather than factual mind.
