Let’s not dilly-dally shall we. The Scout chatroom has opened for the dawn of a new Fantasy Football season with the The Saturday Surgery here for the last-gasp panic.

There will undoubtedly be even more panic than normal on what is arguably the busiest, and most fraught, period of the whole season.

We’ve opened three rooms in anticipation of a potential abundance of users, we encourage you to spread about and help those as they help you with your last minute quandary.

The first Saturday Surgery of the season is open.

    i was tinkering at 4.45am people would think ur a nutter ,certainly paid off now ,im staggered that people have not even entered a team or joined any leagues,and were leaving it till this morning ,for me a good part of the game is the unlimited tinkering at the start of the season ,why do people deny themselves that ????

    All these people moaning about people shouldn't leave it till the last minute and blah blah!!! What a stupid comment!!! People leave it till last minute because team news comes in all the time, players get injured etc.

      1123: For those of you messaging in on the subject, I too have had problems this morning trying to log into the official Premier League fantasy football website. It looks like we're all stuck with the teams we had prior to reading all this morning's preview material telling us that Luis Suarez is the man to watch. If he bags a treble today there'll be bother. These are the kind of pressures you're up against as a modern football manager though. maybe this is karma for all the times we've snorted in derision at manager's making excuses on TV.

      Brightened up my day slightly at least, haha!

    Mine can't even display the page. Regardless of the hyperbole some people on here are spouting, it is not doubt a mess. There's a deadline for a reason. They should be thinking of a work around for appeasement's sake. I know my teams in a state. Players I wanted to play on the bench (Ie Enrique now Aurelio is injured) and others I hadn't transferred in.

      Can't see City allowing Tevez to join a rival. City will wait it out, Arsenal will get nervous and accept the initial bid. £23m I think. It doesn't make an attractive fantasy proposition. Tevez at Arsenal would have though.

        Yes, looks like the login server is down. Once you've logged in you're not hitting those servers anymore, so you're fine. Logging out isn't going to let someone else log in.

        Er.. keeping myself logged in longer than i needed to pick my team. I'm not that sad.

        I agree FPL are the ones that have screwed up a perfectly good website in their quest to make it a prettier.

        But even if the login server was the issue. Getting off their servers to let others on might of helped. Staying logged in for 7/8hrs is just poor. And gloating about it shows what kind of characters we have on here.

        Forums are for helping each other, shame this one losses sight of that sometimes.
