Let’s not dilly-dally shall we. The Scout chatroom has opened for the dawn of a new Fantasy Football season with the The Saturday Surgery here for the last-gasp panic.

There will undoubtedly be even more panic than normal on what is arguably the busiest, and most fraught, period of the whole season.

We’ve opened three rooms in anticipation of a potential abundance of users, we encourage you to spread about and help those as they help you with your last minute quandary.

The first Saturday Surgery of the season is open.

      Matey. This has been covered in the chat. They write articles for the FPL. They don't have people sitting in their offices covering what is going on. It has nothing to with the people that run this site, who offer an amazing resource that enhances the game.

    I dunno who my captain is and I wanted to make a change this morning, however I blame myself, like everyone has had a month to put there team together, servers always crash and it was stupid of us to rely on the last day to do our teams when there are 2 million other users of the site!

    This should be interesting. The last time I looked (three days ago), I think the system had automatically captained Andy Johnson.

    When, obviously, I would have captained Ben Watson.

        People who have nothing else to do in life but sit on FPL reacting to every updated piece of team news I guess. Seems like blaming the wrong party to me too. My team is 95% there and should be okay but my office cash leagues is now kaput for first time in 3 or 4 years which is a real pain in the ass.

      Well I suppose the better prepared are at a nice advantage this week and fair enough. Those last minute changes may well have been bad moves anyway. Lesson learned: Log in and sort team on Friday from now on.

      What a load of crap!!!

      They had no need to change the web site, it was fine the way
      it was last season. Firstly, they took ages to start the game this year, with no notice to the general public.

      Secondly, its been down for ages at the worst time possible, they should have been ready for many people using it at the last minute!! They still offer to public notice as to what the problem is, when its likely to be fixed, or a possible solution to ensure fair play to all the users.

      I thought this scout site had some connections this year?!! Cant they send an email to them to get some answers????
