Let’s not dilly-dally shall we. The Scout chatroom has opened for the dawn of a new Fantasy Football season with the The Saturday Surgery here for the last-gasp panic.

There will undoubtedly be even more panic than normal on what is arguably the busiest, and most fraught, period of the whole season.

We’ve opened three rooms in anticipation of a potential abundance of users, we encourage you to spread about and help those as they help you with your last minute quandary.

The first Saturday Surgery of the season is open.

    Do you think FPL will offer some sort of concession next week i.e a one week only wildcard?

    I was not particularly affected by the outage, although I am not sure who my third striker or captain is, but others will be really naffed up. A Wildcard next week would ensure the issues don't have season long ramifications.

        You are probably right.

        Do you agree it would be sensible though? I can't see how anybody would be against it and without it it will ruin the whole season for a %age of the players.

          imho its almost impossible to define who's been affected (i.e. who needed to make changes) and if you give a wild card to everyone then you could say its an unfair advantage to those who had settled teams.

          simplest thing is to just leave it as it is. yes, some people will be pissed.. but to be cold about it you could argue that people should've sorted their teams out earlier.

          personally, i wanted to make changes last night and this morning... but que sera.

      Usually it's listed - the whole season's worth is set up at the start. No tab for it though.

      Also, no graphs this season.

    i just mailed this to them, not that they will care or reply:

    Hi

    The site has been down all of friday night and this morning. as a result a friend has not been able to register their team and now theres no point as they will be a week behind

    I've been playing the game 5/6 years and this has never happened. instead of having the servers up to speed it looks like the site spent more time designing a new one which is not needed and the site looked perfect last year. there will thousands that have been let down and their teams not finished. it has been frustrating trying to log-in the whole time as i aswell never got to finish my team and finalise changes. Whats the point in having a site if no-one can log in before it starts. the deadline should be extended but im sure its too late as no-ones probably there to hel fix the issue

    10 teams in my main mini league. Only 1 person picked RVP! Can't believe how little he's been picked. Kind of wish I'd gone for him now. Then again not many have Rooney either 🙂

          I mentioned it above. Perhaps an email to FPL towers would be a good idea if there is general agreement. I would be interested to hear if Mark or Granvile have a view.

          As I said, I have not really been affected, but without it, the bitterness and vitriol will persist the whole season.

        possibly the most frustrating 20 hours of my life, I have put down £150 in my cash league, so its hard not just to sit back and think its just a game. Put a total downer on what is normaly one of the most exciting times of the sporting year.
